With all this craziness going on, I actually wish I could live a dog's life... If even for a day.

Forgot I was to cook ribs in IP tonight. Worked late, then commuted downstairs and then wife reminded me. Wish she would have reminded me earlier, like when she came in with a broken picture frame she knocked off the wall. So will be eating little later.
Did get glue and clamps on the frame.

Sunny but windy, gusts up 30 mph. Weatherbug says 63°, wunderground says 60°. My thermometer says 60°

Randy, glad you are being monitored. Hope they figure out something.

J- you're killing me with those photos....:)

Welcome new guys!

Kyle I see your county is still at 0 cases and the new Governors Executive orders deem church services essential and exempt. Is your easter egg hunt still on? We are still prohibited by our county judge's orders. Our county is up to 50 case
s only increasing 2 to 6 a day. Half of the Texas counties still have 0 cases.
Welcome to the “COVID-19 in the county” club Kyle.

AFAIK, our church is doing everything online. No groups of people.

Don, years ago, an elderly local lady named Freda passed away. She made the absolute best home made coconut pies ever. Does/did your mom ever bake them?

Hahaha ... yeah, they can be a bear to find. Not only do I have Tinnitus, but I also have significant hearing loss in my left ear, which screws up stereo imaging and makes it hard to pinpoint the direction of sounds. This one was loud enough that it was easy to determine that it was either the one just inside the bedroom door, or the one outside at that end of the hallway. A red LED was kind enough to blink when it beeped to confirm which one for me.

On a similar note, I had been increasingly disappointed recently at how bad my hearing in that left ear has become. When working in my studio, I am always having to turn my head so my right ear can hear the stereo separation of different tracks when panning bass and guitars left and right or checking drum panning. Monday night while I was in there tweaking some guitar tones, I'd noticed that the left channel seemed really weak. When I stuck my right ear over by that speaker, there was hardly anything coming out of it. I muted everything panned right, and confirmed that it was too soft. All the volume and crossover levels were set the same on both sides of the monitor system, so I started checking cable connections. Everything was fine. I then turned the left side volume knob all the way down and back up again ... and lo and behold, there was volume again. Guess my hearing on that side isn't quite as bad as I thought after all.

Sucks about your hearing. I wish I'd worn more protection in my younger years....I have bad tinnitus.

You can play The Cars, Moving in Stereo to test system/hearing. Turn it up. (with protection on).....

Ron, like the Dr in the video that RNG posted said, "Think of it like glitter".....It gets everywhere. Nice picture. I love cardinals. Birds, that is. I'm glad when people take precautions.

We got some lovely rain this evening, with more on the way.

Oh swampthing,,,,I mean Eric, sticking stock out the back end of a lathe is one of the most dangerous things you can do on a lathe. I have personally seen the results of 2 wrecks, 1 killed the poor newby, the other wiped out about $100,000 worth of stuff. Slow rpm, a bushing in the back end to keep it straight, and a steady rest back there to hold it place.

Rich, been watching Youtube videos of Kaplan Cycles New England Motorcycle Museum. He doesn't have a lot of vintage, but a good variety.

Drew- I ate bear a couple of times at a really decent German Restaurant during their game month specials. It was marinated like sauerbraten and cooked the same way as a thickened stew (to mask the grease) and cartelized onions (to mask the grease). The restaurant still has game nights in October/November, but now the menu entrees are more limited. Nice azaleas.

I did not post (or remember posting) yesterday that the local butcher/smokehouse is alive and well and reported a 300% increase in his business. It was a nice ride for the dog and I was able to stock up on some frozen meat products yesterday.

Lewis and Clarke enjoyed bear, but especially beaver tail ...:shocked::drink:

Good evening all. 57F for the start, overcast, rain in the forecast, light wind. Wind got cranked up gust topping 33 mph at times, overcast all day, light drizzle at times but ground never got wet, and high temp 66F. Finished the splitting this morning, had a little chain sawing to do to help the splitting, started sucking up leaves, wife hauled rounds in photo to clean up dump, when she got back she said if your going to ride better go now so I did. After lunch got a nap and I was still done. Photo is where FULL pickup load of logs from stepdaughter's oak tree was and now gone as well as the rounds in front of the firewood
RNG they put my brother on blood thinners/anti clotting meds to reduce the formation of blood clots.
Bill glad to hear tractor has reported for duty
Phil sorry to hear about the wife laid off, good to hear your still employed
Billy glad Coco got some exercise, hate to hear there are still shortages.
Eric glad the swamp did not get you :)
Drew hope the photos went well.
Ron glad you got attachments organized, missed the bird pic
Rich sorry about the long call to support, they are tough and rarely go well. And to frost the cake sounds like problem was not fixed.
RNG thanks, but think of all the detail you would miss!! Don't think I ever got to the point of not getting the occasional control reversal Hope you get the full size tank installed soon
Ron, not paranoid. We are a bit sloppier here but no cases in county, will have to tighten up a lot when cases show locally.
PJ hope this trip goes better.
Don, that does sound like a rough start, is that a copperhead, can't see the head shape in the photo.
Drew but would it protect as well?
Pennwalk thanks for the link :welcome:
Hawkeye, glad the insurance change over went smoothly.
David have fun with the blocks. How heavy are they?
Bird, not having problems with Amazon, tried Walmart and the arrive date/tracking leaves something to be desired, stepdaughter tried to order wipes/sanitizer, that has yet to show.
Randy hope they get to bottom of afib. Hard to believe just a coincidence it happened right at med change.
PJ glad your off the hook.
Buckeye, I hate it when it is my fault dinner is late, at least you got the frame repairs started.
Thomas, critters will love that !!
prayers for all.
stay safe and healthy.

Didn't have to do this after all. Customer wanted some other parts delivered as well, and they are in a large box on a pallet. Not gonna fit in my Kia Rio. So, the Plant Manager is delivering them in his company truck.

Sounds like you work in a pretty good place Paul, in that your management isn't asking you to do anything they wouldn't do themselves.
