Kubota L3240
Just driving to garden area & it died. Acted the same as if standing up while in gear or PTO engaged. When trying to restart same general behavior, as if in gear or PTO engaged. Seat switches checked ok with meter. PTO clutch switch ok with meter. Traced wiring harness to console as best as I can, no chafing or any signs of problem. Interestingly if I set display mode to PTO it displays 溺ID 0? My L3240 doesn稚 have a mid PTO. The connector in the harness for the mid PTO control is jumpered and checks ok. I only have the operator manual so no actual wiring diagram just trying to approach logically. But it痴 a BIG problem, if I can稚 start it I can稚 raise FEL or 3point attachment even if were to try to load up to head to a shop.
Then add insult to injury it痴 out in the middle of back yard, my baby has never had to spend nights outside. Also my internet has been like a yo-yo.
Is there a bypass? Are the PDF manuals from web any good?
Thanks Paul

Off hand is the engine getting fuel?

This is how I see your post. What does it actually say? I would bet some safety switch is misaligned and not tripping correctly.

Hmm. Apparently apostrophes, & quote symbols cause my input to go crazy.
If I set display mode to PTO I get message mid 0 . I dont have a mid pto. I’d expect rear 0.
I agree with your comment about a safety switch somewhere. But I have checked those at seat & the pto clutch, enable / disable. I downloaded a pdf doc & digging in it hoping to find more info about switches, locations & ultimately where é›»ecision is made to not allow start (computer?). Some sort of temp bypass would be awesome.

Fuel not a problem. Something, safety mechanism, not allowing it to even try starting. Turning switch to start results in beep and display message... “Shuttle - PTO - neutral”. Suggesting it is in gear or pto is engaged. Not in gear & pto not engaged.
I downloaded a WSM and am digging for info.

Get power to the fuel solenoid , Turn key to run then jump the starter solenoid and it should run. That should bypass all the safety switches.

My L3400 gear drive has a switch on the shuttle shift lever that it contacts when in neutral. dont know if you are gear or hst.

I'm not sure that would bypass the PTO safety switch with Operator present in the seat, might try that with the seat tilted forward. If it thinks no one is in the seat with the PTO on (possible mid-pto?) it should kill the engine.
