Good morning!!!!

Good morning to all! Low went to 40, high going for 65, but wind is also forecasted.

Still no word on the daughters Covid 19 test.... she, and the rest of her family have not gotten any worse symptoms, so maybe all will be good. A matter of time and patience.... thanks for the prank thoughts.... they are working....

RNG, you just had to post that video of the gravel spread..... now I am getting those irresistible urges to get more gravel...:scratchchin::begging::hypnodisk:

Ron, nice bird pics... did they make a nest close to the feeder?

LFN, nice work on the exhaust. Why did you go with larger diameter pipe for the riser?

Going to try and get out into the shop today, at a nice pace, to attempt to do these couple little doors.... it just seems like something more important always jumps ahead in line....

Our bank card got hacked this past weekend, a big purchase at a Verizon store in Alabama, a smaller purchase in California. One had posted Monday and the other larger one was still pending last night. We had to go to the bank in person to dispute the charges and get a new card issued. The said they could not do anything about the pending transaction until it posted to the account.... ???... you would think they would want to stop that transaction before it went through.... bass-ackwards in my book! Guess what? It posted this morning, so another trip to the bank is in order this morning!

Odd thing is, this was the wifeys card, and she has not used it for any transactions for at least 3 weeks... I have used mine at least 3-4 times a week during that period. They have different numbers. Hopefully they will credit the amounts within a few days.

At first, the bank said we would have to call Verizon first and dispute the claim with them. So, after holding on the phone for them for quite a bid, they said they would “ open an investigation “ which could take up to 7 days ! BS ! You took my money without authorization, I want to know where and why! All they could tell me was my account was current, no purchase to the account, nothing due until end of April. Lot of good they were!

I am going to go get started.... everyone have a great day!

Good morning. It was 48° this morning and expect to get to 77° this afternoon. Our forecast indicate a good chance of much needed rain by Friday.

I spent about 7 hours in the driver seat of the Kubota Zero Turn yesterday and probably another 3-4 this afternoon.

This is an interesting web site that looks like it get daily updates. Lots of information but it predicts when the peak Covid 19 cases will occur state by state and indicates resource shortages. Looks like NY has some bad weeks coming.

COVID-19

Don .. good luck with your "cedarcide" .. I'm available for consultation. . I've "cided" well over 100 cedars this year.

We now have our first cases of CV in Colorado County. I was told it was a lady from elsewhere visiting friends in CC.

Hoping everyone stays home and safe.

Prayers to all.

Rick- Thanks for the link.

Ted- I was on the throne when I realized that things were "not right." I am sorry to read about the CC theft challenges. Good luck. That happened to me after a limo ride in FL dealing with aging parent issues. I got charged a lot of $ for air conditioners purchased in GA. The VISA CC security people were very nice; they got a laugh about the A/C order from the ice and snow of MA during the height of Winter and it was resolved. They also were helpful when Wifey got her wallet snatched while visiting her Aunt residing in a really fancy/$ assisted living facility.

The EverSourceョ contracted tree services are still clearing out the easement. They are still using 2 of those big cherrypickers to top and bring down the trees. It will be hard to photograph, but when they are finished I will try. I/We have ~2200' of road frontage. There is an extensive amount of decent firewood down. I did talk to my neighbor yesterday and gave them permission to harvest the downed trees. I talked to his Son this AM as he was working near the driveway. He actually dealt with those two young bucks over the weekend cutting wood; looking out for my/our best interests... Know I know why they were concerned of getting shot.;) Shooting someone on one's property over property is a criminal offense in MA. We do not interact often, but I know that the "neighbors" around here are looking out for each others' backs, and I theirs'.

I think that I will not need to worry about firewood anymore

Something's not adding up with the CoVid-19 news, Ron. The geometric progression expansion of the disease seems to be holding up in California and nationwide, and medical staff at those NYC hospitals on 60 Minutes the other night looked exhausted. Yet someone has time to make that very fancy and time consuming dry erase board? Doesn't make sense. :confused2: But I'm with you with regard to staying home as long as possible, riding out the peak with as close to zero exposure as possible.

Media Hype? :confused3:

35°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 60° today.

The Wife got most of the grass mowed yesterday, and at the same time herded most of the leaves into three piles. She said she planned her paths with the mower so she was blowing the leaves along as she mowed. Can't argue with the results.

Welcome to the GM thread, Engineer42. I lurked here for awhile before jumping in, too.

BEF, we have had three cats parading through our barn of late. One we know is the neighbor's, one is a dark cat we've never seen, and the most recent is a gray cat we've seen around on occasion. I see them regularly on the barncams, rubbing on the corner of the tractor bucket or just walking through. The south side of our barn is open, so animals tend to come and go as they please.

That's a fairly generous offer from you company, Roy. Nice that they're looking out for you, even in difficult times.

Bird, I found myself standing on a chair in the bedroom at 02:15 this morning, and I wasn't all that happy about it. The smoke detector in the bedroom started chirping around 02:00. We tried to ignore it at first, but it eventually chirped about every 30 seconds. So, I grudgingly got up and changed the battery. I'd just changed that one with all the others. Guess it was a dud.

Thought I was going to get stuck running an order to a new customer up in central Illinois today (another ag eqipment company). I had mixed emotions about it. While it was an opportunity to get out on a nice day for a little field trip, the last run to a customer left me stranded on the side of the interstate for four hours in a dead car. Since I'm still here, I guess they found someone else for this one.

Easier than typing!

I致e found myself in Afib this morning, had a couple of incidents since switching BP meds. Lowered my BP but might to regulate my rhythm with something else, anyway I gotta go to the cardiologist tomorrow.

It痴 so cool, windy and damp that I知 not sure what I値l get into today.

Everyone please stay safe!

Make sure to take your meds. My BP medication has worked great after a scare and three stents. Now back to some heavy work with no problems. Don;t put off the Afib testing, see what they can do for you.
