Good morning!!!!

We got $150 of groceries we can hibernate for 3 weeks but really need to get fresh fruit and vegetable every week and replenish what we use to always stay 3 weeks ahead. If thousands get the virus in our town we can stay in for 3-4 weeks.- Don

We're are planning similarly. We are well stocked at this point. We both have +30 days worth of our meds (including Wifey's anti-malarial). I have at least 3 months worth of longterm acting insulin, 6 months worth of short term insulin with my reschedulincg of dosings, and 133.3333333333333 days worth of disposable syringes. I discovered this morning that these syringes can be sterilized with boiling water, bleach, 70%*alcohol, and/or H2O2.

RNG- 44 panels, 11.82 kWp theoretically (been close). I was surprised to see any production with snow cover, but I will still get limited production even with 2" - 3" of covering snow. I should check my production following heavier snows; I may get some production. Gravity is my friend with snow removal.

That doesn't sound right, Ken, especially if it's been getting brake fluid changes every year. I don't have any experience with Jeeps, but I have lots of experience with old brake fluid, and it's all bad...

The calipers literally fall apart. Nothing with fluid contact. Never had a caliper go on another car, and I keep most for 10-14 years!

Speaking of survival, just finished making up a half gallon of non-fat milk from powder. 7/8 cup of water to 1/3 cup of water. For the record, that works out to 56 fluid ounces of water to 2 2/3 cup of milk powder. Made up a sticky label to that effect for the powdered milk container. It might even taste better than the watery stuff that was in the jug, a pleasant surprise. Ain't modern technology grand?!?

Also put away two one pound bags of onion powder. Made another sticker that sez "1 tablespoon onion powder = 1 medium onion". Repurposed a really old container of garlic salt, which I now never use, and filled it with the onion powder, nearly a half pound. So that's where the sticker ended up. And for another record, one pound of powdered onion equals 188.68 medium onions:shocked:. I guess I won't need to bring home any onions for a looooong time...

Welcome to GM, E42!:welcome:

Is it yours? If so, too bad you're not in the neighborhood!

That monster would make short work of the trenching I just finished, a lot of it through rock, and would be a good worker for the gravel spreading I was doing yesterday. It would have been a lot more stable when traversing the side hill on the way to where the gravel is going, too. Maybe I need to get like Drew and have an implement, or in this case, a vehicle, for every purpose?

One that has me wondering about tracked vehicles is if the tracks tend to come off when side hilling.

51 and cloudy, cool and damp. Put up a shelf in the bigger garage this morning for all my cordless drills and drivers, batteries and chargers but it’s very raw outside and I didn’t feel like turning the heat on in there, so I quit and came in.
We have access to most staples and our freezers and pantry are well stocked, so I’m not going to any extreme measures. We have about 3-4 weeks before we see any real easing looks like, now that the acceleration has slowed dramatically.

Have a good day, prayers for us all.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I’ve been reading GM for a while, waiting for an opportunity to participate.
RNG, that’s not mine, just a pic I found online. I have ran one identical to it and figured that would incorporate your tools into one box, so to say. Apparently, it is for sale tho.
