All roads lead to Rome.

So obviously we need to toss some religion in here as well ..... and on that note is that the "pagan" Rome or the post-conversion-to-Christianity Rome these roads are leading to? :D

....granted with both the politics ended up turning things to poo :confused2:

Which means they probably wanted/needed TP as much as the rest of us currently do (do)

(sorry I couldn't resist the opening for an attempt at some humor :confused3: ) ...... I'll just go ahead and :tractor: on now.... :D

And the country has been sensitive to the TP supply ever since. He just run his mouth as a joke and look at what it caused. Like a butterfly flapping its wings on the other side of the world causing a hurricane.

Cosco, box stores and supermarkets were all out of TP.
Local pharmacy had a good stock AND at normal retail price.

LOL, got home and wife found we already had a reserve so good for a while.

We thought that half the Lodge had come down with the virus because of the fever, chills and shakes, but finally figured out it was because they closed the bar.

PILOON,
You be safe up there in CanuckiLand. Many moons ago I had my first love up your way. Her family lived in Ottawa and she went to McGill in Montreal. Fond memories of Quebec and excursions into Gatineau Park. One moonlit ride in particular, with a light snow falling and....well...we were in love...good memories.

Do they still sell Brador? I used to smuggle it back to Ontario.

You can tell that everybody is washing their hands more often...the peanuts at the bar don't have any flavor...:D

Yep, sure do but nowadays craft beer is the rage, all sorts of to be had with flavors aimed at the ladies.

The Romans may be credited with inventions such as toilets, plumbing, water closets and such, but where did TP come from, and when? I don't think the Pilgrims brought much over.

Which makes you part of the problem if you weren't completely out and buying for a family of 6.

YES.. people are just buying stuff to say they have it ...

24 isn't too out of line. I bought two 12 packs back in January with the second just being necessary to make a minimum amount to get a bonus discount. I most likely would not buy both at one time now though.

I believe the Chinese get credit for inventing it maybe a couple thousand years ago; here's the history:

Frank and Peter,
I've had trouble regulating my bowels all my life. There have been many days I skipped lunch because of this problem. I need a reserve supply of toilet paper and I intend to have one. If you only have one good non-messy bowel movement a day then, good for you.
