Another item that is seeing a "shortage" and run on is firearms and ammo. Apparently in some areas firearms sales are up 600%. I don't think many here are "stocking up" on guns, as I believe most here probably have all the firearms they would need to protect themselves. but more in the "coasts" urban areas. Supposedly 90% of the buyers are new buyers. Meaning they know nothing about firearms. This is also borne out by what some of the retailers are are saying about the buyers just wanting to buy a gun "any gun" and they don't care what it is.
I predict that with no one to help these people gain more knowledge about firearms and their safe usage, they may experience some issues. The onset of turbulent times is not really the time to be acquiring your first firearm and trying to learn how to utilize it with efficacy and safety. Many of these same buyers are learning for the first time about their restrictive states onerous waiting periods. :) Pretty ironic if you were to ask me.

And I wonder outloud, how many of those buyers wanted to repeal our 2nd Amendment rights previously???

You got me. I always prefer it rolled out rather than in. But then we don't have a house cat.

If you have a "good kitty" they don't ever do that. Only "bad cats" do that. Here is a trick to turn a "bad cat" into a "good kitty". Use a squirt bottle filled with water and catch them in the act and douse em. They learn real quick. Kitties just need guidance like children. They learn real fast. Faster than kids.

I would bet almost all. I saw them lined up about 3 blocks long on one store in California. That is where they got to learn about the 10 day waiting period.

Very ironic indeed.

Well it's not the already gun owners buying them. So who does that leave? Trying to not cause the thread to shut down......

To those of you using TP to wipe your butt and nothing else.
Quit.
Your aversion to not touching yourself "down there" is a big problem.
The dry TP will eventually rub the rectal skin raw and open it up to infection and possibly even cancer. Want to wear a bag for the rest of your life at some point?
There's water in the toilet basin. Raise the seat, sit on the commode, flush the crap out to get fresh water there. Use your hand to splash water onto your rectum. Then use the hand to really wash that rectum. When finished, just use a washable hand towel to dry off. No TP needed.
Been doing this for years (using TP to dry, not the wash cloth). Have not had a rectal bleeding problem since. Bleeding was caused by dry wiping until really really clean. Cannot stand the pain or itching of not being clean. Water will do it better.

Ralph

I have gutted a deer and not gagged this much... Disgusting. :ill:

It was said the 90% of the buyers had never owned a firearm before in their life. Did not have a preference in what they bought, just wanted to buy a gun. And they had no idea of how the process worked.

 Not only that, they hate water.
