Good morning! 63 and raining on and off. Winds are picking up from the North. RNG it seems our FireWise brush removal group in mainly interested in removal of junipers. We took out about a thousand. The Trail Blazers also remove the junipers under the Oak trees to take the stress off the Oaks. No construction of fire breaks. The other people in FireWise do Home inspections upon request.
Temps dropping now 57.
132 tornados a year in Texas or . 0005 chance of a tornado each square mile.

Ted, best of luck and best outcome.

just picked up prescription nausea meds from Walmart. Never been there before and despite lines seemed pretty efficient.
Used a discount card my primary provider told me about, GoodRX, and my 144 dollar for 15 pills prescription,
which CVS was going to discount to 75 for me, cost me 24 bucks. What a racket drugs are.

Drew .. check out Blink Health too. Similar to Good Rx. My single prescription cost me less for 90 days worth than 30 days cost me with insurance before I retired.

67°F and 2.35 inches rain. A bit soggy.
Thanks for the comments on view, one of the things that makes this place special. Many days we don’t see the mountain due to cloud cover which changes during course of the day. So sometimes can ride up the hill and nothing in view or another time or different day there she is in all her glory. I’ll either remark to wife something along “someone stole the mountain again” or “WOW, look who’s back” Silly for sure.

Expecting a call for help from friend putting up a fabric roof - wx depending.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Beautiful day, I’m itching to get out but the Vet is coming to check our critters and she is running late.
Gotta a tight window to do stuff as the ministers are coming for a visit later.
Looks like I will need to start mowing very soon. Weeds are tall and grass is filling in and greening.
Need to spray the driveway and turnouts and wash all the buildings and deck furniture needs unpacking and cleaning. Need to spray vines also.

So, just got an email from the place I got the mower from, Betsco . They have a new coupon code offering 20% off until 2/21/2020. The code is: SPRING2020. I called them up, told them I had just ordered a mower a couple days ago and asked if they would apply the new discount....

Well, I found some great customer service.... they said no problem... we will issue a refund for the difference . That is over another $200 off. I will definitely deal with this company again.

Here is a link to their site:

Betstco Tractor Implements

They have lots of attachments if anyone is looking....

Rick, I got the 6ft finish mower. My neighbor is going to get a 6ft rotary brush mower, so we will borrow each other ‘ s . He is buying a tractor from John at RCO... he is going down next week to pick it up. By the way, did you see that RCO won LS tractor “ best dealer for customer satisfaction “ . They deserve it for sure!

John and Alex are great guys to deal with. I just talked to John yesterday, in fact.

I'm taking my XR4155HC up next week to get a couple thing done.

What did your neighbor buy? Maybe I'll run into him up there. This will be my first visit to their new shop in Spicewood.

They had a used (only 38 hrs) MT125. John made him a great deal on the tractor with a new PHD and box blade. I think he is going to Spicewood next Thursday. I was going to take the road trip with him, but I do not think I will be able to. He is going to pick up a BH thumb for me that I bought from John... it will save me the $50 to ship something that heavy!

Another windy night that messed with my sleep. Now I know what Ted experiences. A breezy mostly cloudy 35ºF for today's low temperature; presently a windy 41º. The thinning melting snow/icepack is pretty slick this AM; making for difficult walking. Brogen was having problems keeping his footing. I had a doctor's visit this AM down in the "Big City." This PM I may replace the air compressor on our SelectComfortï½® bed. I do have to prep a fair amount of food for tonight's Chinese meal that I am planning on making to accompany the leftover home made Hot & Sour soup that we made.

RNG- I think you made a great choice. Good luck with the learning curves. I'd buy some extra props (just in case ); and an extra battery.;)

Billy- The SYMA X1 was so underpowered the prop guards were excessive weight and because of how cheaply made they were they flexed in flight which messed with the aerodynamics. I do not think that they made prop guards for the "FC" with its ~34" prop tip to prop tip with 9.5 props.

My town had 306 voters. #1 BS, #2 EW, #3 JB, MB got 24 votes and 3 votes for TG. This is Rachael Maddow country. She lives here. Republicans, Democrats, Green Party and Independents all vote in the Community Hall and due to the small # of registered voters there is rarely a wait. Based on the Uber PC culture here the vote did not surprise me and does not reflect my vote. ;) FWIW Racheal M. has an impressive fleet of vehicles and she likes trucks. She's so short that she probably can barely see over the dashboard of some of those trucks.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers for all those impacted by the TN tornadoes.

RonJH- I am happy to read that Sassy did well with her obedience training.

Ted- My +thoughts, wishes, and prayers for a successful outcome with your knee surgery.

I hope that everyone is having a decent day.

+ wishes and prayers for all
