Remind us, are those machines the clubs or the state? Who has to foot the bill? I know we have groomers in the Gaylord area, and I think volunteers run them, but do not know who maintains them. Jon

I'm just a grunt and know very little about anything. The state owns the machines, pays us per mile to groom trails and they pay all clubs the same $$$ per mile to groom but each club is free to do whatever with what they are paid. The clubs are responsible for machine maintenance but the state will "usually" pay for things that cost $1000 or more. Hows that?
I'm somewhat confused Arlyn, did you get let go, or with the virus and everything shutting down you are just done for the season and don't want to do it again next year.
Either way, great thread and good info all winter, hope you guys are doing well.
