The tank is behind the seat. The fill is about flush with the ROPS mounting plate, between the ROPS and the side of the seat. When the box blade is elevated, there is about 10 inches between the tire and the side of the box blade. I could reach over, leaning forward to hold the can up there (about face level) but that just kills my back / shoulders. If I put the box blade down, I can step in there and hold the can leaning it against the ROPS and the seat. ( I am standing between the 3point stabilizers and 3 point arms.) Here is a pic where you can see the tank and filler neck

Yes this would make me not get that model ls i think! I think they forgot about the fuel tank when designing the tractors then was like where are we putting it? Lol

My tank is down low under the step. Seems very susceptible to damage from trees and brush but it sure is easy to fuel up.

It is not bad when the BH or mower is on. Still a pain. It would not be too bad if the stupid can poured out faster.... it still has the new “ safety spout “ on it.... basically gives a ‘ glug ‘ then has to balance the vacuum created, then another ‘glug ‘... on and on for what seems 10 minutes... all the while holding the darn thing up there.

I would love to have the stupid engineering guy come and hold it! I tell myself every time I am at TSC to buy one of the high flow kits... but always forget....... until I have to fuel it up again... I WILL GET ONE SOON!

I'm getting ready to go the barrel/pump route for refueling. I hate the hassle of jugs and hauling them. I don't use enough fuel in a year to need more than a barrel. I already have a diesel pump.

I have one of these
Battery Operated Liquid Transfer Pump

it fits perfectly in a five gallon can that I can lift to the top of the tire, climb onto the step, and hold the hose into the tank. works great. forget about having to pour from a can, no mess at all this way :)

I do the barrel with hand crank pump. Got an inconvenient place for it right now, so I can't really fill directly from the barrel. I use a one gallon jug, crank the fuel into it, then pour into the tank. Once I get this shed built, I'll rearrange so I can do it right. This temporary gig showed me I get 16 cranks per gallon, so I can use that later to count cranks to know how much goes in. With a 6 gallon tank, it won't be too much trouble. For a bigger tank, that might be a lot of cranking.

I guess my filler cap is a bit forward of that one. No problem to stand beside even with the tiller or BH mounted.

I just uploaded a video kinda showing how I plow my driveway. Check it out! Plowing Snow with the LS - YouTube

Avenger,

Heard you mention in your video a ‘fix’ for the turbo failure that came up on the New Holland’s a while back-did you get an actual TSB number regarding the ‘fix’-I’m wanting to get my XR4155 upgraded if there is a fix-I’d probably go to the same place that you’re having it done by.
