The tank is behind the seat. The fill is about flush with the ROPS mounting plate, between the ROPS and the side of the seat. When the box blade is elevated, there is about 10 inches between the tire and the side of the box blade. I could reach over, leaning forward to hold the can up there (about face level) but that just kills my back / shoulders. If I put the box blade down, I can step in there and hold the can leaning it against the ROPS and the seat. ( I am standing between the 3point stabilizers and 3 point arms.) Here is a pic where you can see the tank and filler neck
It is not bad when the BH or mower is on. Still a pain. It would not be too bad if the stupid can poured out faster.... it still has the new “ safety spout “ on it.... basically gives a ‘ glug ‘ then has to balance the vacuum created, then another ‘glug ‘... on and on for what seems 10 minutes... all the while holding the darn thing up there.
I would love to have the stupid engineering guy come and hold it! I tell myself every time I am at TSC to buy one of the high flow kits... but always forget....... until I have to fuel it up again... I WILL GET ONE SOON!
I just uploaded a video kinda showing how I plow my driveway. Check it out! Plowing Snow with the LS - YouTube
