Tomorrow’s another tractor day.

David ... I bought one of these 3-point adapter plates, from Titan, so I can use implements, like my 8' HD boom pole on my FEL. That would be perfect for your assembly project.

Very familiar with the concept Rick. Should be a number of pics using mine here on TBN someplace. In fact I recently bought a new 3 pt quick attach to make a new one to replace rusted out one. I even have an extension for the boom pole and previously had a 12v winch attached. Was how I did my roof when building the house

The forks ended up being a great solution as they were helpful for the transport aspect and enough height for the lift.

Oops! Thinking back ... I think I got the "Idea" from you David.

Never mind.

Went out and cleared out the driveway again. I had to refuel, so I pulled the tractor out of the garage, lowered the box blade, and refueled while she was warming up. Jumped on the tractor and attempted to plow some drifts out of the way. I got about 10-12 feet forward and I started spinning the tires... WTH?.... engaged diff lock.... just spinning, digging into the stone, making holes. Will not move more than a couple inches forward or backwards... just spinning. Dumped the bucket and rolled it back to help push out.... nope, still spinning and now I am digging another hole with the bucket... WTH?

Then the bell went off and the little voice inside said YOU DUMB A** ..... I forgot to lift the box blade back up. It made a nice 5 ft wide trench right out from the front of the garage about 6 inches deep, about 10 ft long..... the fresh stone that was put down a couple weeks ago in front of the garage is now in a nice pile , along with 4 holes from the tires spinning, and a nice big gouge from trying to use the bucket to push out....

Nothing like making more work for myself... pushed the stone back, of course mixed with snow, filled all my divots. By the time I cleared the rest of the drive, the sun has now melted all the snow / gravel mixture. There is now a nice big muddy patch right in front of the garage.... oh well...

A more through walk around may be in order. Should help jog your memory. I have backed over the dog before and several bicycles. Even though the kids are grown and gone, I still do a walk around.

I always do a walk around... actually did one before pulling it out of the garage. Then remember I had to refuel. Put the box blade down so I could stand behind the tire.

I walked the fuel can back into the garage, then walked out right next to the box blade.... just was not paying attention...

Where does your fuel filler come out? Seems like a inconvenient location if have to move 3point to get to it?

The tank is behind the seat. The fill is about flush with the ROPS mounting plate, between the ROPS and the side of the seat. When the box blade is elevated, there is about 10 inches between the tire and the side of the box blade. I could reach over, leaning forward to hold the can up there (about face level) but that just kills my back / shoulders. If I put the box blade down, I can step in there and hold the can leaning it against the ROPS and the seat. ( I am standing between the 3point stabilizers and 3 point arms.) Here is a pic where you can see the tank and filler neck
