Rims Deere 4310 Tire Swap with Deere 790

Hello

I am working on trading the R4 tires and wheels from my Deere 4310 for some R1 tires and wheels. I have an offer to swap with a guy that has R1s on his Deere 790. I am having him measure his bolt pattern and pilot hole, but I was wondering if anyone knows if these rims should swap alright? The tires are the correct size, just wondering about the bolt pattern.

They should match right up. I have read posts on other forums where people purchased R1 tires for the 30xxE series tractors and had them match up perfectly for there older 4000 series tractors.

Also the telescopic draft links on the 3 series match up perfectly. I just put a set on my 4400. Cost is about 385 bucks which is kind of reasonable for a green tractor part.

I just heard back from the 790 owner and the front rims would work but the rears have a different bolt pattern and pilot hole. My 4310 is 6 bolt on 6" pattern with a 4.625" pilot hole. The 790 has 6 bolt on 6.5" pattern with a 3.625 pilot hole.

Looked at price of replacing center hub but they are $450+ each.

I wonder if you order up a wheel spacer kit for a 790 and before they sent out have them machine the one side to fit the pilot hole for the 4310. Usually a pair of those is only a few hundred dollars. Could be a cost savings option for you.
