Gas or electric, Rick?
How many hours do you think you have on it?
My mixer was in pretty bad shape when I got it. The bronze bearing for the main driving shaft was egged out, which let the two gear sets slip, so I turned a new one to replace it. Then I reinforced the base with more braces, and added tabs for three point hitch pins and a top link. I had an axle laying around that had larger pneumatic tires, so I cut the old one off and welded that one on. Then I got rid of the ring on the tow bar and bolted on a 2" ball hitch from HF. And ditched the original B&S engine, which I could never get to start, for the HF Predator, which after what it's been through, has turned out to be fairly durable. But after all that, it's still only a 1 CF or so mixer, and I'd really like to get up to 1/3 cu. yard. Still not sure how much trouble it's gonna be doing the fence posts for the solar array, and I'll probably end up replacing it with a larger unit when one comes up on CL or FB.
