It snowed so I had to get some pictures. This was our second snow in a month, supposed to snow this coming Monday night and maybe again later next week.

She looks cold in the snow. I'll admit I miss seeing the headache rack it used to have; but the toolbox is probably far more practical for your needs.

That's still one pretty truck.

I saw B.A. Baracus fixing one exactly like this one, in under a minute, last week.. But that was 25 years ago ;)

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would give an update on the trucks. This thread was for my '59 White 4400TD and the thread for the restoration of my '56 White WC22PLT is here http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...377-truck-restoration-part-ii.html?highlight=

I still take the trucks to shows, if they're close I'll drive the '59, otherwise I'll haul the '56 on my trailer with my pickup. They both get lots of attention, especially from people who used to drive one and haven't seen one in 45 years. Right now I'm talking with the owner of a '64 White 4200 gin pole truck. Not sure we'll be able to make a deal but I hate for the truck to get scrapped. He bought the truck from the same dealer my '59 came from.

Eddie, come down to the Rusk County Youth expo center for the tractor show April 14 and 15. I'll have two trucks there and we should have several more trucks on display.

Those wheels change the truck completely.

Wheels make the truck just "pop" out at you. All great trucks.

Thanks, I really should. I enjoy going to the few tractor shows that I've been to. Just have to see what I have going on that weekend.

I bought another project truck. 1965 White 9062 TDP that's in remarkable rust-free condition. It was on a ranch near Hereford, Texas. NH220 Cummins with a Fuller RT910 ten speed transmission.

Wow, a great find. Is this your first 9000? Look forward to your restoration. Looks like the frame starts to slope down to the front at about 2 feet behind the cab. I guess that would be to help fit the big Cummins into a small space. Is the engine tilted to the right? Looks like the back of the tranny is just at the back of the cab. Is there any space at all for a passenger in the cab? Love those old Whites.
