How many more pieces do you have to go?

139 not counting brackets, screws, bolts, roof tin.
What you see in my pic are 6 legs & extensions, and 3 bases

The sun was about to peek over the horizon as I opened the door this morning. Within seconds it was being chased away by ominous clouds from the north and now is set to stay in hiding for the rest of the day.

LS, that's a really nice looking drop leaf table

Eric, with the U.K. leaving the EU tomorrow, does that mean that everybody in U.K. will revert back to real measurement (Imperial) and get away from that metric crap?
Imperial never completely died, feet and inches are still in common use, even by people a lot younger than me. Our cars still show miles per gallon despite us filling the fuel tanks in litres. Metric dominates many areas though, such as engineering and in truth it is simpler and easier to work with. Once you have used it for a while, it's hard to imagine wanting to go back to the old system, even for someone older like me who was brought up with imperial at school. I can't imagine we will ever loose the charm of drinking beer from a pint glass, but I will always be grateful to France for showing us there are better units for most measuring tasks.

There is one area where I only reluctantly use metric lengths and that is with cartridge reloading equipment. Most of the data sources and reloading dies I use originate from America (mostly Hornady and RCBS) and quote almost exclusively Imperial units for case dimensions, headspace adjustments etc. It is sorely tempting to press the button on my verniers and read directly in inches, but I get an uncomfortable feeling that sooner or later I would forget to swap in and out of inches/mm and make a bad mistake, so I convert it all to metric. I do keep my scales set on grains for weighing powder as that doesn't conflict with anything else.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 29° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 32° with slight chance of flurries. Dog got their baths. Managed to keep Sassy in wash tub. Sure like how well the Water-Pik wand works getting dogs rinsed off. Grocery shopping today. Then back home to conserve energy.
13 deer did not show up yesterday evening. But 3 bucks came to check out feeders. I watched them for a few minutes. Then remembered to take a picture. They must not like their picture taken. Only caught 2 of them in picture.

Drew, the struggles we have to endure while aging can make it very challenging. I hope some the suggestion from others help you enjoy life better. My problems seem so small when I read what others are going through.

Drives, I did a search on Facebook Marketplace. Lots of inversion tables came up. One caught my eye. A used powered Teeter for $950. Then I did a search. $2700 new. Glad my back does not hurt.

David, lots of parts, How many screw and battery charges by the time you finish?

Kyle, LS's doggie had a birthday. Both of mine will have theirs on the same day in March.

Good Morning All.

28 going to 49, and increasing clouds.

Eric, thanks for the nice sunrise pic...I'm looking forward to ours which may look similar today.

Ron, great deer pix. Nice you remembered my splitter challenges. I'm happy to report that it has started on the first pull the last 3 times I cold started it...and every time after a warm refuel. I think I've figured it out...pour a little SeaFoam in the empty tank...distribute into the carb with a few pumps of the primer button, then add gas, pump 3 times and pull. It has also helped that the temps have been in the upper 40s each time, rather than below freezing. I split until dark last night. Taking today off to roast and do taxes.

I always wondered about those Teeters. We had a neighbor back in the early 80s who was a chiropractor...was often hanging upside down in his yard when we'd walk by on the way to the beach. He offered, but I never got in the thing. I do have a set of floor exercises I do every morning to keep back pain at bay, so maybe a little bat hanging time would be good.

Buppies, I like the sounds of your plans...I'll send you a PM on the subject.

Good morning, the temp was 4°F when I went to bed (was supposed to be 10 overnight), the high is gonna be 27. Wind SE 6 mph. 40% chance of flurries.

An energy conservation day for sure.

Eric, in my job I need to use both metric and Imperial as well as the U.S system. Most asphalt tanks are built in the U.S. so I need to know the conversion to U.S. from metric. I prefer Imperial, mainly because I was educated in it whenever I went to school. Yes, I am an old coot. I know that miles per gallon is old school, but I know what mpg is and the higher miles is better, than Litres/100 kms where a lower number is better. The speedometer in the Dodge is in kms, but the computer readout I switched to Imperial. My scale I keep on grams. Precious metals are weighed in grams.

Have a safe day all

Good morning All. 29 for a low temperature this morning. Headed to 45 and sunny today. The porch repair turned out surprisingly well. Not too sure what I will get into today. Maybe energy conservation? Happy Friday!
