A cloudy, frozen fog/drizzle 31ºF for today’s low temperature. A hazy sunny 36ºF presently which will probably be close to today’s high temperature with returning clouds and some light snow later today/tonight. I will probably be seeing some additional frontal passing light snow showers/mixed precipitation events later this workweek and possibly a decent snow management event over the weekend if it stays all snow.
Drew- I am happy that the doctors finally figured out what was driving your medical/physical challenges. Good luck. It’s scary stuff with which to deal. It amazes me that with all the medical information the doctors have on us how poorly that information gets shared with doctors and hospitals “out of the system.”
“…. In old folks #1 medication side affects #2 dehydration.”- Don. I’ll add UTI’s to the list.
Ted- I am happy to read that you were able to remove the filter. Those filter changing mechanics must have arms like Popeye’s. We’ve been eating somewhat less than healthy pizzas ourselves this week. Great stomachs like great minds work/act similarly.

“… I've never been able to make any sense out of the Stihl profile gauge, even after reading the instructions that come with one of their chains…”- RNG I can relate. I use Oregon chains nowadays. I am happy that the solarization project is starting to move along again. Good luck with the ophthalmologist.
RonJH- You can check for dehydration through your skin’s turgor: “Use two fingers to pinch up some skin on the back of your hand, and then let the skin go. The skin should spring back to its normal position in less than a couple of seconds. Higgins says that if the skin returns to normal more slowly, you might be dehydrated. Check your urine.May 29, 2019 “- internet source I check myself often.
I hope that everyone is having a decent day.
My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
