The wife watched the ball drop thing. I worked 160 meters. She came in and said it was anti-climatic. But yep, we all survived.

In the UK they came in black, brown, red and white and sometimes yellow or green, all had a mint flavour.
Then we had gobstoppers, a hard ball in a variety of sizes up tp a small snooker ball that could shut up the most annoying mother in law for hours.
