If there was any doubt....about why the takeover?

From my knowledge, they still use Cummins engines as they still produce them for Cummins they come off the same line at kukje's plant in Korea , they are just labeled as a kukje motors engine as per their agreement with cummins that being said they also use some yanmar engines as well.

Edit: so i wanted to edit this after i spoke to my Friend at Branson, so coming from one of the service techs at branson." they do still you cummins branded engine on some larger models, but they also use cummins branded as Kukje Motors on some mid range models and a Few yanmars in the smaller under 30 Hp tractors like the 1905,and new 2510/H as they themselves(kukje) don't make a diesel that small.

I think the last Branson the have a Cummins was the 6530 which is no longer made. Some of the new smaller Branson's have yanmars because they are really TYMs.

Welcome to TBN! Just curious, where did you come by this information? This is totally opposite of everything I have understood. I looked closely at TYM before I bought the Branson and nothing appeared to be the same.

My 25 series has a Kukje built, Cummins licensed, Cummins engine. I could buy replacement engine parts from a local Cummins repair shop here in US, if I needed to.

Take a close look at the 1905h and 2505h serial number tag and under the hood. The 4815C is a Branson though.

So you pointed out the only 2 tractors in the entire Branson range that doesn't have a Cummins engine. What's your point now? Most likely they decided to get a TYM rebranded tractor to explore the market before digging hard into it and may or may not have success.

In the meantime they also signed an agreement to produce over 18000 engines for Deutz. Source: Kukje_official Instagram, after using the Google Translator. I don't know if these engines will be used in Branson tractors or it's just a production run directly for Deutz. At some point Branson might have to step up to Common rail engines.

What did you expect when you came here claiming things without something to prove it? As a dealer, then you should know what are you selling.

Other than the 05 series that uses Yanmar enginge, EVERYTHING else is made by Kukje with Kukje/Cummins engine.

Thanks for posting Takman. Sorry for the reception from some of the regulars. We sometimes get people who come here just to trash Bransons, and since you didn't start out telling us you were with a Branson dealer they apparently thought you were one of those guys.

The Branson 1901 looks just like the 19hp TYM T194 sub compact. Both have Yanmar engines. The 2505 has a Yanmar 3TNV80E engine. TYM has two 25hp models on their US web site. The T254 has a Yanmar 3TNV80F engine that's similar but not the same at the 2505's (i.e. direct injection vs swirl chamber). The loader looks very different and the tractor itself looks a little different though it's hard to tell from the pics. There's also a TYM T264 which looks closer to the 2505 but it's got a Kukje A1100 engine! Of course it's possible that TYM makes another 25hp model that's only being marketed as a Branson or web sites are out of date etc.

It all seems a bit confused, especially on the TYM side. They are introducing more Kukje engines, but only in models that duplicate Yanmar engine models. Sometimes the Kukje engine models are "budget" versions in that size, but in the 25hp the Kukje engine model is the higher spec of the two. Maybe they're hedging bets or have terms in their deal with Yanmar.

When a person comes onto *any* forum, and makes a statement about *any* brand, that is quite easily demonstrated as completely FALSE...

There are only a few possibilities.

They are not who they represent themselves to be.

They have no knowledge of the product(s) or brand(s) that they claim to have.

They are intentionally misrepresenting facts and information for other purposes.

Takman has made the definitive (and incorrect) statement that the last Branson model to have a Cummins engine was the 40 series. That is easily shown to be incorrect. Even a person with no knowledge of the product at all can find this information quite easily by just going on the Branson website and looking at tractor specs. It's all right there in black and white.

He also claims to be a Branson dealer. Or does he? He said "I just sell the dang things... " Does that mean he's a salesman at a shop that sells a multitude of "things", or is he the actual owner of an exclusive Branson dealership somewhere? Or does he just happen to work in the same building and is he the guy that just sweeps the floor at night?

As far as I know, and I DON'T claim to be a Branson dealer, or salesman, or whatever...

These Branson models are still in production, and still use Kukje manufactured Cummins engines, built under license agreement with Cummins:

2400 series
20 series
25 series
45 series

And this information was very easy to look up. You don't even have to be a Branson dealer to find it.

So, bring FACTS and explain. We're all ears. Show me where your information is coming from. I'll listen intently if you bring FACTS.
