Snowblower Snow Blower for JD 455

Looking to add the Snow blower assembly for our 455 tractor. I am not familiar with what I'm looking for.
An Xseries mount? is this a belt drive or run off of tractor hydro system. 44 or a 47" attachment? some one should have more knowledge than I. Any help is appreciated, just starting out on this journey.

I am finding a few different snow blowers avai;able out there.

I believe the 4*5 tractors have front PTO shaft that drives the blower. Also require the attachment mount for the blower

My son had a 425 that run a 46 or 47 blower this way. Don稚 recall exact width

I have a Model 47 2 stage blower that I used ONCE on my JD-935. The 47 is used on quite a few different models of 3 and 4 series tracrors and the F-900s. There are several hitch configurations that interface to this blower. There is also a possible need for the PTO driveshaft rotation direction reverser gearbox, so add THAT expensive part to the list if your tractor mid-pto goes the "wrong" way. Check the JD parts site for your 455 and look at the attachments sub-menu. It will show the hitch parts and the blower parts needed.

I found that am 8' frame mounted plow was the only way to go.

Had a 455 and it used a 5' approx. driveshaft hooked right up to the front of the transaxle. I had a 47" blower and it worked great. Hydraulic lift and chute actuator.
It uses a hitch that is good for snowblowers and also front blades.

Found a 47" blower off of another 455 yesterday. Installing it tomorrow... I have high expectations.
