Wood Chipper

Rwatkins...........In case you missed that......Gittyup's machine is both a "chipper" and a "Shredder". The chipper (with a knife) can take up to 5" limbs....whereas the shredder (separate hopper with hammers) takes only 1 1/4" brush etc.

Well, I'm learning something new every day! That is handy. Merry Christmas all.

Here in Waco, Texas we are clearing the typical cedar, scrub oak, mesquite and some elm, and using the Woodmax 9900 attached to a CK4010. Its works better than the Vermeer chipper (with 26hp Kohler engine) we used and just recently sold. Just cleared a 20' wide x 520 foot long corridor for new power lines in only 2 days work. Then stumps ground down and removed on 3rd day.

I checked the MacKissic site. The TPH-123 is just over $2,000. The WM is near $3,000 is only a chipper and apparently hard to service the blades.
