What trans fluid for T574

My dealer delivered my new T574 with cab and loader yesterday. In going over the machine he told me that the trans/rear axle/hydraulic unit takes UTF to be changed at the 50hr mark. The 50hr spec is stated in the owners manual but the manual says to fill with GL-4 80W oil. I would like to contact TYM but nowhere in the owner manual or web site is there any means to contact TYM. But many times they say "We will become a company that communicates more with customers." How? Anyone have answers to the questions as to which fluid to use and how to contact TYM? 80W seems awfully heavy for hydraulics and I have other machines that take UTF in the trans/hydraulics. Thanks.

On my T353 HST the front axle takes 80-90W GL-4 oil, the transmission/hydraulic system takes UTF. My dealer suggested premium fluid over the regular. If in doubt call the service department at your dealer and verify.

Hi nepa, If you don't mind, I'm going to forward your post to TYM about the misprint in your manual regarding the oil. A premium UTF oil like we sell is what you are supposed to use. I like to see specs like Kubota UDT, Case High Trans, John Deere J20C. Do not use a cheap 303 oil, AW oil, or GL-4 gear oil. FYI, I recently used "Legacy ISO 68 Tractor Transmission and Hydraulic Fluid" for my TYM T503. Also, could not find any cross-reference for the hydraulic/tranny filter. I did go to my dealer to purchase everything.

Use oil with good specs like Hansen said. TYM recommends Tractor Supply Traveller Premium Universal Tractor/Trans Hydr Fluid. Tractor Supplys Part #80639199. ISO46, meets good specs, and its easy for you to get.

Thats what I used on my Cabelas/TYM.
