New Underwear Problem

Over forty years ago my young wife picked out some stylish new pants for me. There was only ONE HIP POCKET and it was on the freaking LEFT! I never felt right in those pants and my wife has seldom been invited clothes shopping with me since.

I am not boasting but I find the fly too small and impossible to maneuver fingers into.

Not many people boast about having large fingers.

Duluth Underwear. Expensive but well worth it, won’t go back to anything else untill I hit the diaper stage of life again, hopefully that never happens.

In your wife's defense, for some reason clothing manufacturers felt the need to mess with men's pants back in the 70s. Button fly, odd combinations of pockets and cuts that didn't always fit very well. It was a challenge to find normal pants for a while. Fortunately that fad passed fairly quickly.

Shopping with the wife is generally a bad idea regardless of what you're looking to buy.

I shopped for a new pair of jeans. Bought the cheapest one. Threw it in the trash the first time I wore it. Zipper only went half way down. Why put a short zipper in pants. I'm no shorty bt it doesn't reach up and then down.

That happened with 2 pairs of work trousers that I bought online. Quality name, quality material and they fit perfectly...

... except that I have to 'drop trou' to have a leak due to the short zipper!

Was an episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" years ago on this very subject. Question comes down to a preference for "over the fence" or "through the gate". Fitting for a rural living board.

Having large hands I find most current trousers have a much too small a zipper to give me access.
Shucks I need to almost drop my drawers to relieve myself and the dang trousers just ride too low.
In fact I have trouble keeping a shirt tucked in.
As to the slotless underwear I do find them more comfy as they don't have doubled over fold to provide that slot access.
Also they are cooler to wear due to the single layer of fabric.

Pouch, fly, sized like Under Armor for 3/6/9 leg length, and not as expensive as name brand. I have 6 of these and i like them very much. Not tagless & have to cut it out is only complaint.

Shorts on backwards........

Duluth undies (calf length) have a black label on dark green material. Not realizing that I had them on backwards, I was quite embar assed when I had to drop my pants/shorts to take a pee in the urinal at a church function. I'm not sure what the "others" think my problem is/was.

NO - I wear bibs and shuck it down to my knees or ankles. If somebody should happen to see me - they have to be trespassing. Besides - I don't give a hoot.
