Heck, I live in Oregon, and I had to look it up.

Turns out, it痴 just west of Nimrod.

I had to check that Nimrod was a real place in Oregon and not someplace Bugs Bunny dreamed up for Elmer Fudd to come from. :shocked:

Ahh shoot. Nimrod is just a quick 15 mile run up the river from my place!

Yup. Leaburg is not much of a town. We’ve got a gas station and a good vet, so we’re good. Springfield is less than 20 minutes away, followed by Eugene if you keep going another 15.

When we bought our property and built the house 7 years ago, I thought I’d hate the longer commute to work. Turns out it’s actually really nice. In the extra 15-20 minute drive from the office, I have more time to unwind and decompress before I get home.

Since living out here, I’ve become active with my local volunteer fire department. Also very rewarding, as well as important when disaster strikes 20 to 30 minutes away from the nearest medical help. Plus, I get to blow the horn on the fire engine...

You live in a GREAT area. I would love that area if I never had to go into Eugene. :laughing:
