If you run a 4WD, or even a 2WD, with lockers, you'll get tire scrub if both tires on an axle aren't the same diameter. So the way Drew did it should be OK.

These days, many cars monitor tire pressure by measuring the rotation speed of each wheel. If one developes a flat, it spins faster because it's running a shorter radius but still has to keep up with all the rest of the good tires. If Drew's truck instead measures tire pressure directly, he shouldn't have a problem. Otherwise, the TPM will complain until he goes back and buys another pair of Michelins. He could still have problems if the traction control system expects all wheels to rotate at the same speed, since the new ones will have a larger diameter than the worn ones.
He will probably be just fine!! You know the old saying "Looks Good From My House"

On loose surfaces the tires minor mismatch will be fine, while he had no reason to, should he try 4wd on dry surfaces he could get an error code. The AWD Grand Cherokees use to not tolerate any difference in size or air pressure. You’d get a light and often binding on turns. I had a faulty tire on mine and it was changed st 4000 miles, dash lit up like 4th of July, about 3-4 lights came on and you could barely turn around on asphalt. They had to put all four on new.

If I'm not mistaken some of you guys were talking about home garage lifts awhile back; my son sent me this pic today of my RTV on his new lift. I'm down in Florida till early Oct and didn't even know he was up to some tricks. He bought this to help us restore his old 66 Bronco. It looks like a real sweet setup. rtv.jpg

Spent all day fighting to extend my STD past 8/30. Work had me down for LWOP instead of STD. Finally got my case manager to call back. He agreed to extend till next week. Now if it goes thru to work in time. I never got my last paycheck yet because of a mixup.

hope you get that all straightened out. Why the heck would someone think you just wanted to go without any pay???

Anyways, keep getting better for us. You too Randy.

Prayers for our team.

Thinking about you Ron.

Maybe a 2 x 8 between 2 trees and a ladder?

:)

BTW RNG IIRC, nikasil cylinders require softer cast iron type rings.

My wife believes it is Peter Pan inspired.

Astros might have a better chance if the Yankees keep losing 3 a day.

A tree castle? Really talented. I sure couldn’t even copy it let alone do original. Be proud, Papa

Im curious about the boat in the tree.

Flying boats don't have to worry about icebergs (only trees, or is that where they dock.) Interesting how she has put the objects facing in different directions and can get the sides complementing that direction.

Good evening all. 75F this morning, partly cloudy, light breeze. Clouds moved in but no rain, cleared back off to partly cloudy this afternoon, outflow this morning from north then died aff this afternoon, high temp 91F, HI 96F. Bike ride this morning, then chainsaw firewood, had a couple of small piles working on now. Need to start splitting the logs so the stack will be closer to the order I will burn it. Worked on routing for next Saturday's ride, have 2 in 2 weekends (Greenville and Bonham). Spent 30 minutes with Garmin on phone with no usable help. No nap either
Eric sounds like a nice time.
Ron hope you got your projects planned, feel free to send some rain down here!
Randy, how big a wedge? Hope OT eval goes as well as the PT eval.
Scrambler sounds like a busy day.
Drew, had the same problem on my van, got what was on sale and 80K mile tire would go about 40K. On all the other cars I had different story. Just figured the van's weight had something to do with it.
Kyle, love today's art.
Buckeye, good luck with paperwork, too bad paperwork is not going as well as recovery!!
Steppenwolfe, lift looks nice
prayers for all.
