Best Tractor Attachment to Spread Compost on Lawn

I've got about two acres of lawn that I want to top dress with compost. Spreading the compost by shovel or a lawn spreader is impractical.

What is the best tractor attachment to spread compost on my lawn?

May be a a little hard to see, but there is manure spreader in there and that is what would work best. Although this one has seen better days.

Think I would broad cast it with what ever process that is available and go over it with riding mower to refine the process..... Neighbor has a lot of clean horse manure (dry) and that is what I have in mind....

Manure spreaders I've seen were in the $1500+ range. Unless you have a recurring need for one, this is one of those things you might want to rent. They're not overly heavy and should fit on most trailers for hauling home and back.

Consider using FEL to place bucket size piles of compost around the two acres, then spread with a chain harrow.

You could drag one of these around with a lawn mower by making an adapter. I would not want to push it
