House roughly 2000 sq ft
Extra hot days
Swimming pool pump running.
All electric. No gas or solar.
Bill was about $296. IIRC
But I'm worried next months bill will be higher.

Prayers for our team.

PJ's wife did great job.

Roy, I've had similar issues, during my morning commute. I've cut out caffeine and almost no sodas too. They seem to come every few months and when they come, almost every morning, will hit me for a bit.
Sure wish I knew what they are.
About 15 years ago, I had a bout of full on vertigo. My gyroscope was wobbling. It was painful to turn my head...

We will have to wrap some Texas cotton around the rotor blades to quiet them.
Go to gsaauctions.gov look at Aircraft categories. We can get a Blackhawk for a measly $500,000. Already has red Cross painted on it...so we can look official.

Gosh, Bird, you certainly win the prize for completeness! Thank you!

And what a surprise, it looks like that rate actually went DOWN for a few years!

Wouldn't it be nice if the more recent trend reversed?:cool2:

Sorry, can’t contribute the Hawaii numbers. Being totally off grid I’d have to Google them.

Dont have my cost handy. I divide total kwr by bill total, all fees included because that's my cost.

Ordered my wheelchair today, now see if insurance will pay.

Stood to walker from wheelchair, and did walker transfer from wheelchair to exercise mat. Another box checked off on recovery.

Sister and BIL came from ohio. They are going with wife to take son to college, leave tomorrow morning.

So no home food coming till next week.

My PT instructor is with me on this helicopter escape on the 23rd.

Took wheelchair up a ramp today, 8" rise over about 40" ramp. Way steeper than code, which would be an 8' ramp.

My new roommate leaves tomorrow, so will get luck of the draw for next one. One guy in PT today had a policeman with him...

Just checking in also.... Prayers sent for Randy, our thoughts and well wishes for a speedy recovery.

Drew, thanks for the updates, the cactus/succulent arrangements look nice.

BEF, hope your rehab progresses quickly....you're going to need all your strength to "GET TO THE CHOPPER !! ".... Do you know who said that?

Jay, have a nice, safe, trip on your vacation. Hopefully Brogen will not decide to "fix" the cleanliness of the truck on his brief rides.

We have been REALLY busy getting re-accustomed with daily living with the son and DIL. No real issues, but our "daily schedules" aren't quite the same...not even close. We get up at dawn, go to bed early. They sleep in til 8, stay up late... Meal times are way off too....

Hopefully we will come to a happy medium for the next 2 months or so.... Then we will officially be "out of the house". I really don't want to move into the travel trailer full time ...

The knee has been arguing with me on a daily basis. The "lube shot" wore off about The last week of July. Relief only lasted about 3 weeks. Now I'm back to pain and daily swelling. Next Dr's appt. is in 10 days. I don't know what the next step will be....

I hope everyone is doing OK and those mending continue to do so.

Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie "Predator".... Back in the day. Hopefully your rehab might get you looking like that?
Lol, have to admit i needed the physical exercise. Feels good lifting weights again.

Electric bill: 6/01/19 to 7/01/19----456 KWh @ $0.132 = $95.91. This includes a "service charge element" of $21.75. This never changes, we are told it is for the "electronic meter" (which they read remotely, saving the cost of a human "meterman") so it costs us more !! This was also a month with none to minimal a/c usage... I anticipate this month will be much higher.

Grev, sure can relate. Every day I look at Kalani and wonder. She picked us when only 2 weeks old and came home at 6 weeks. She just turned 12 last month and our longest lived. Suspect her hearing is bad, at least more selective, eyesight, we sometimes wonder. Then there are days she frolics like a young pup. She definitely takes cues from the young pup Kekoa. She continues to have a great life.

I was wrong. It was $264 kw used 2698 for 32 days. This was for the month of July (that we just paid). Which had a "cool spell" of 4 days or so.

$.0978/ per kw

My aunt passed away. She knew where she was going and was "ready to go".

Good evening all. 75F this morning, rain with thunder, 1/4 to 1/2 inch rain (radar estimates) calm wind. West of us had up to 4 inch rain. Sky started clearing 8:30AM, nice build up this afternoon, light wind, high temp 93F HI 101. Men's meeting this morning followed by bike ride. Nap followed by wife directed IT on her laptop, then trip to town to get mower belt, and other supplies, then dinner.
Roy sorry to hear about your vertigo, had a bad bout with it about 15 yo, 25mg meclizine keeps it under control for me. I do keep it on me, but only take it as needed, maybe 1 to 5 times a year, never more than 3 pills. Drs never did find the cause.
Billy nice celebration for your folk's anniversary.
Rick nice helicopter pic, some impressive capabilities among the rotatory wing crowd.
Buckeye good to hear more progress and a helper for the extraction :D
RNG that is strange on how hard it is to change your allergy shots.
Drew nice pic of your new plantings, thanks for Randy update.
Grev sorry to hear about your dog.
Ted good to hear your update, wish dr could fix your knee.
prayers for all!!

So sorry Kyle. It's good she knew her "destination". Same with my Mother 4 years ago. About 15 minutes before she passed, she asked my sister to open the window of her bedroom.

Thanks for the support, my dog, she is 14, hearing almost gone except for loud noises, eyes are failing and she had some sort of nerve problem. She get the meds but she still isn't right, just waiting for everything to hit the fan.

I have had dogs all my lie but this is the first one that has really hit me, might be my age but might be that she is a small dog and requires a little more care than a larger on pin my area... coyotes, cats... can't leave her outside alone.

I just need to accept what is happening, as I used to but it is still harder this time around than before.

Again thanks, time will tell !
