It's a hot day to work with wood but somebody has to do it, actually is to hot to do anything outside...........

Thanks for the offer but there’s a reason that I live in Maine. I’ll take zero and two feet of snow over 90 any day.
The only good things about summer are tomatoes and corn...

And girls in bikinis.

I agree with all points here, there is something special about the smell of a tomato plant!! My Sister lives in Arizona, we went to visit. The breeze was 123, it was hotter than the ambient temperature!! So you're just sitting there in the shade because the pool is like a hot tub. You're sweating from every pore, its 115 degrees, you're thinking it cant get any hotter than this, then the breeze blows & you now understand what it's like to have Lucifer breathing on your neck. They all say, it's a dry heat, but just because the humidity level tops out @ 8%, hot is hot! You think, I will go inside & take a nice cool shower! Except when they ran the well line to the house, it's only buried 2' below ground, so that water is over 90. Yeah NY may be humid & a bureaucratic nightmare, but there is just something about being outside in the woods, in October, with the crisp air, saw in hand, not a bug in sight, dead calm, except for the giant oak that just hit the ground! To me, that's the stuff right there...

Yep, to each their own and there's nothing wrong with that, after being stuck in colorado for 7 years if I never see snow again it would be ok with me. Nothing wrong with tomatoes, corn and bikinis and a few other things I can think of, and why people can live where they want... It is AMERICA after all!
