Yanmar pricing, too high?

I know of no farms who do serious tillage (pull, not pto powered) work with hst. Too much power loss and too much heat. Powershift, csv, and others yes. Tillage eats HST for lunch (coming from a dry land farming guy).

And that video is what I was looking for.

In real work use, i love it better then a hst. Works fine for loading, better for mowing / spraying / etc, much better for tillage like plowing, sub soiling, disking, etc.

Is anyone here wanting to buy a 100 hp or bigger tractor to pull an implement across a field? Your point is?

I know people who pull a disc or sub soiler with smaller machines. Was just pointing out the issue with all hst. They are great for loading work and ok for mowing work. But they do produce more heat and rob more power at working ranging then a gear or the ihmt tranny. That is all.
