Good Morning!!!! 64F @ 8:00AM. Sunshine and clouds mixed. High 88F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Some pretty majestic landscapes up there in Alaska, David. Sounds like you and Farmer had/are having nice vacations. Eight crews left here yesterday to help fight wildfires in Alaska, so it sounds like it's been very dry and uncharacteristically warm there so far this year.

I don't think you could make enough of your veggie pizza to keep up with demand, Drew. It looks delicious, and so does your garden harvest!

The coils for the big red dual sport bike arrived yesterday, and it looks like mounting them will be fairly straight forward. But they use an odd ball size for the plug leads, and I might end up having to fabricate something to hold the wires in. Don't want to wait another three weeks for their specialty leads to arrive, and they don't seem to sell them separately anyway.:confused2:

Got a little more digging done on the sprinkler line yesterday, and a big section of the main feed replaced. Found lots of moist soil around the valve box, so today I'll run another pressure test and see if I can find out where the leak is coming from.

Did a search for "Deere 4052" yesterday here on TBN and came up with an interesting thread that described a rash of defective loader valve bodies that were used prior to 2017, and lots of bad behavior among dealers that refused to address the problem. They must go to the same customer service school as my Kubota dealer. But also found even more threads where happy owners described their purchases, so they all aren't bad. In my area, one company owns dealerships in several towns, so I hope they turn out to be good guys.

Sure be nice if Randy would check in. Hope he's having the time of his life, and it would be nice to hear it from him.

Reading about camping, grew up tent camping, folks got a truck camper about the time I was in college. My wife enjoyed the tent camping with me until our middle daughter was about 1 1/2 and we were camping for 4th of July family reunion. It was in the upper 20s in the mountains where we were, ice on the water bucket, she politely said we needed to get something that had a potty and heater. We ended up with truck camper and now have bumper pull travel trailer.. We don't get out as much as we like but do enjoy it. We were supposed to be camping this Thursday-Tuesday, but campground cancelled our reservations due to construction work at the campground, middle daughter in middle of building house (SIPs delivered this morning).

No garden this year, lawn in sad shape.. enjoy reading about folks like Drew having a big garden and sharing, but other projects taking our time this year.

Wife and I used to camp a couple times a year before we got married. A band I used to play in played at a large campground on the Black River near Lesterville MO every Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. Big stage, 1500+ people, good times. After we played on Saturday night, we'd tear down our equipment and set up the tents on the stage. Get up Sunday morning and eat a big breakfast, then spend the day canoeing down the Black River. Even after I stopped playing, we still went there a few more times just for the camping and canoeing. We haven't done it in many years, though. We occasionally talk about getting a small pull-behind trailer, but can't really justify it with as little as we know we'd go these days.

Praying for healing, I know how it can impact the day.

I suffer from back pain since Oct 2018, doc didn't think it was serious, but I should go in now that it has continued. At least see what they can figure out, I really don't want surgery again, but knowing the cause of the pain would be helpful.

It was a grain/seed shed. It was built about 80 years ago not on my property. The owners were going to tear it down, the previous land owner (here) said he would take it. So they put it on skids and moved it to where it sits now. Mosty it's used to store posts/wire now. The backside of the roof is in real bad shape. Here is a better picture of it. The grain cart is still in there at the top of the elevator shaft.

I would consider a deep red metal roof, to preserve the thing. It's really cool.

FARMER, I'M YELLING IN CAPS TO BE AWARE OF TOXIC WATER AT THE BEACH. There are alerts posted on many of the Gulf's shores. A good friend's neighbor just died from contracting flesh eating virus, while crabbing in Matagorda bay Texas. If you have ANY redness of open sores or cuts, go straight to the emergency room. Yes, I'm a safety nerd. OTT, have fun at the beach.

BEF, prayers for your back pain. Not sure what meds do what for what, but my buddy taught me to take prescription levels of Advil/Motrin to help break the inflammation. 800mg every 4-8 hours, then as soon as you get relief, back off.
