I am about to stroke a check for a Massey 2600h or 2700e. I have had a Kubota HST for a long time and was certainly planning to go that direction again. However, I see that most dealers have lots Shuttles in stock. This tells me that either they cannot keep hydros in stock OR the Massey hydros have issues. Does anyone have insights on any issues with Massey hydrostatic issues? Seems really odd to me that not many have them in stock.

I have a 2706e with a hydro, and over 300 hours of trouble free hydro use, including running mowers, balers etc. and tons of loader work.

Hello...I haven't heard of any problem with MF or any other make tractor with Hydro. I had a GC1720 (2 speed) and now the 1526 (3 speed) with a total of 600 plus hrs, no problems. My friend had a 30hp and now a 60 hp MF, no problem. The shuttle shift may have more power for loader work when it comes to construction work ( gravel pits, etc.). Take care
