The one thing most will find out, with their tools standing up by the long handles, is how easy catching tree branches and other overhead obstacles thus breaking the handles quickly and easily.

It's a good pattern for a DIY project.

I put my long handed tools in the loader bucket, then drive over them!

I think he's mainly targeting the suburban or mostly groomed property rather than rough property/barns with unpaved floors.
