Good morning!!!!

A slightly chilly 7C/44F this morning, rain started at daybreak and a rising wind is driving it against the windows on the east side of the house. The glass needed a rinse down and the fields need the rain, so getting wet while doing my rounds is no real hardship.

David, it's a pity the original pipe developed a leak, but what a wonderful challenge it has posed since then. Little setbacks like yesterday only add to the drama. Good brain exercise for you and and a great spectator sport for the rest of us. :)
Thanks for taking the pics and good luck for Thursday's episode.

Thanks to CWB too for the train pics. We are fortunate to often see steam trains passing by us at holiday times, but nothing quite that size.

good morning all.
Up good part of night with leg cramps, at least I got the hot tub fixed, yeah, but was in that three times. Not much REM sleep for me.
Time to start putting salt back on food. I also ordered some magnesium tablets.

good visit with ortho doc yesterday. He's a good all around doc too, not tunnel vision like specialists. And here's a guy only a little younger than me,
in good shape (he nags me every time to lose ten pounds...sigh) walking around like a 100 year old, bent over, from throwing his back out last weekend.
Happens to the docs too...

Toppop, you really are talented. Nice work on upholstery.

My car dash has a readout for land elevation, usually staying in 2-25 foot height range. Plenty of ticks and mosquitoes here.

David/Sodamo, that's sounds like a oh no special. Hope you get it connected easily. Sounds like a challenging job, you get an attaboy for even
doing it yourself.

62 going to 82 in nice sunny weather.

22 °F and going to a high of 57. Wind SSE 7 mph. Sunny.

I need to go out and pick up some special ordered meat today. Also some gardening supplies.

That will be the extent of my exercise program for today.

Tonight it is supposed to rain about 1'"- 1.5", If the temps stay as cool as they were last night, maybe it will come as snow. That would be a blessing in disguise for the people in flood prone areas.

Energy conversation is a good thing, so I think I will do more of it today.

Have a safe day all

Good morning, 47 now, maybe 75 later. No rain until tomorrow. We have had several dry days in a row. Needed to dry out some.

Wife and I have been doing outside work each evening after work. Amazing how much we can get accomplished an hour a night. Frees up time on the weekend.

Got a nice email from our dealer due to the steel mill trip last week. Customer is going to buy a new machine for that facility and 3 additional machines for other facilities.

Time for another cup of coffee.....

Everyone have a safe and good day.

Good morning! 68˚F 90% chance of rain.
We had a good thunderstorm on the way home from the neighborhood play last night. The "actors club" put on their first performance on stage in the new Amenities building. It was almost more entertaining watching the little old ladies in all black come on stage and change the set in-between scenes.

David any good project has challenging obstacles that require a sit back and pondering session to overcome, along with the need for more tools.

First cup of coffee has been poured. 37° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 60° with cloudy skies. Got .96" of rain total. Going to put Flail mower on tractor. Then cut back and side fields today. No other plans.

Rich, good sales job.

LS, haven't seen any rattlesnakes here is a few years. Mosquitoes are around. No ticks yet this year. But lots of reports from those that have found them.

David, sorry about problems. You do need that day off from this project.

Randy, nice seats and cushion.

Good Morning All.

I woke to thunder, lightning, and rain just after 4 a.m. this morning. 64 degrees going for a high of 79 and during a lull between rain storms I went out and dumped about a half inch of rain out of the gauge at 5:40 a.m. NWS says our heavy rain is supposed to be between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. I've got to go to north Ft. Worth about 9:30 a.m. to pick up our daughter, bring her to our place, then take her to a dentist at 1:30 p.m. then back home. Looks like I can expect to do a lot of driving in the rain today.
