Good morning! 67˚F heading to the mid 80s.

Nice cake Randy. I bet your wedding cake will look so good you will not want to be the one to slice it up. Don't forget you Marriage license!!!!!

Mowed the grass on the highest setting yesterday (6") looking very green. At that height The golfers cannot see the golf balls that land in my yard.:D

Eric, looking forward to seeing some boat under construction pics.

Rich, interesting frame, will be watching for the finished product.

I need to head to the garden to work in dirt this morning. The paver walkway on the north side of my garden has some roots that need removing and the pavers reset. I also need to sign up for one more wood shop class in May.

It's really strange going out into the garage / shop and not having a tractor in there. Now, the anticipation is building....
The neighbor called yesterday...they wanted some more info on 'the tractor' (I had offered to sell it to them about 6 weeks ago when they said they were looking). They realized I gave them a really good price, they were just too late in deciding. I asked them "what tractor?" , said I sold it last week.... They were disappointed. Then the other neighbor stops by... In conversation, they say... I should have bought your tractor..... Go figure ???.

Probably better your tractor went to a relative stranger, Ted. Nothing worse than selling to a friend or neighbor only to have them on your doorstep every time something goes wrong with it.

And here we were caught flat footed, hoping you might be able to explain it to us? :) What type of boat? Rowboat, Dinghy, Sailboat, motorboat? I've thought about making a small Laser type sailboWe've had 2 young cows keep coming onto our place (yes, our fences aren't the best since our hay doesn't tend to wander off). I called the Sheriff's office, just to make sure I'm not arrested for cattle thievery. Apparently, they come and go, but haven't been able to find out from which neighbor's place. THEY LEAVE LARGE FOOTPRINTS IN MY GARDEN... I guess I shouldn't be too mad, they haven't eaten it yet. Maybe a BB gun? Any ideas?

Paint ball gun. Whoever owns them will see the marks on 'em when they get home and maybe get a clue about keeping 'em on their own property.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!

A clear 26ºF as today’s low; 32ºF clear and sunny presently; clear and sunny mid50ºF’s anticipated as today’s high temperatures and tonight the wet weather begins. I do not anticipate a lot of sun until Saturday. Today will be a putter around in the yard kind of day. The air fryer will see some action later ;) (eggplant).

Randy- That’s a good looking cake for your SIL’s 40th BD.

David- I am happy to read that the potluck dinner went well.

"Probably better your tractor went to a relative stranger, Ted"- RNG. Depending on the relationships it probably is for the best. I am waiting for new tractor pictures. ;)

I hope that everyone had a decent weekend and has a good start to the workweek.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Good Morning!!!! 59F @ 4:30AM. Abundant sunshine. High around 80F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

That frame shows a lot of potential, Rich. Hope you have a lot of fun putting it all back together, and even better luck with the rider on the track!

Camping trip went fairly smoothly, with no new problems popping out of the van. Very noisy shuffling that tin box down the highway though. Fun driving on the tiny, twisty hilly road into the place, including a one lane wooden decked bridge over a rushing mountain creek, with steep switchbacks down into the canyon and back up and out. Good to see old friends for the first time this year, too. The little restaurant was open and served us delicious enchiladas, and I succumbed to the temptation of cheesecake apple dumplings with ice cream. Fortunately I was able to coax the wife of a friend to share it with me, it was HUGE! More water in the lake than I've ever seen before, and a family of geese were very proud of their fuzzy offspring, honking and hooting all night about it. Sounded like a three year old with a New Year's horn. Nice campfire that night, sleepy enough when I got home to take a nap.

Put the rear of the van up on jacks and ran it in 3rd and 4th gears to test for vibrations. They were there, so today I'll make an appointment for another wheel balance.

Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!

RNG- I am happy to read about your camping trip, the good eats, and re-connecting with old friends. Good luck with the vibes.

It was a soggy, squishy walk walk with Brogen around the lower field this AM. There is still running surface water in the "wetter" areas. With this week's anticipated rain I have no clue when things will dry out around here. It will probably be a "Banner Year" for the BLACKFLIES.

No hummingbirds seen here yet.

Great Lake picture.
Problem may not be in tire/wheel balance. May be brake rotor/drum. Try checking with wheel off. I think you said runout of whole assembly was good.

Good morning to all! Low of 43, going up to only 70 today, increasing clouds, chance of scattered t-storms this evening.

Spent some time in the shop yesterday and finished up a small country / shaker style headboard for our bed. A couple of weeks ago, we purchased a simple "box" style bed frame and one of those memory foam mattresses. Really is comfortable. So since we will be keeping it, Wifey just wanted a simple headboard. I was able to finish assembly yesterday and got it stained. Today I will get the finish on it (hand rubbed wax) and get it inside. I'll post pics when done.

Need to call the tractor dealer and ask what tires are on the tractor....didn't think about it before, LS has 'choice' of R1, R3, or R4's. I think I'll go with R4's, initially couldn't decide if R1's would be better. I asked about filling the rears, but they don't have any rimguard or beet juice being they are so far south. I'll do it up here w/ washer fluid.

Rng, Glad to hear your camping trip went well. I agree with Ron, check the drums / discs, could be the source.

David, today ...a day of rest? (After cleanup of course)....

Jay, be careful out walking in that muck...slick stuff!

Hope everyone gets a great start to the week. Prayers sent.

It was 22° for the low this morning. Yesterday was mostly sunny the high was in the mid 50's and windy. Today is going to be cooler with a high in the mid 40's and partly cloudy with less wind. It looks like a chance of snow showers overnight.

I got the maintenance done on the tractor yesterday and few other little things done outside. Need to work on getting some of the gravel back in the driveway.

Hope everyone gets a good start to the week.
CWB.

Roy that's cold.

BEF, surprised you're having freeze warnings...49 down here and going to 67.

Anybody watching GOT? Crazy battle last night.

Did 1.5 hours of string trimming just before dark..put a hurtin' on my shoulders.

Eric, where will you use your boat?
We can get freezing till mid may. Last yr planted garden in may, and lost plants to freeze.
10 day temp outlook today looks good for this year.
