Marriage license was left in Houston 7 hour round trip.
Her sister was still in Houston and even though she was tearing the house apart looking for it she couldn’t find it.
The almost bride was in tears.

A very stressful hour later her sister called that she had found it and s cheers went up in the parking lot where the bridal group was starting to leave. They can now share anniversaries with Bird.

Don, I first thought that the bride had decided to back out.....

Taking it easy. Watched much of Nascar with Ron (virtually). The car makers have decided to align themselves in these superspeedway races, and see who can push the winner to the front.

Bird, crazy story. Glad it ended well.

Jay, that OSA sounds beautiful, but my wife doesn't like to camp. It's almost like camping to her, "living in the middle of a hayfield".

Feeling better. Maybe up to 75% Had trouble with constipation from the anesthesia I guess....TMI. Magnesium tablets are my friend right now. One doctor(kids pediatrician) said to avoid fatty foods and salads??? I can understand avoiding the fatty foods, but the salad???

Things they didn't tell me...or things I wish I'd known. Years ago, I bought a small bundle of 6 asparagus root sets and planted them. I wish they'd had told me you need at least 24 plants to get enough asparagus to feed your family. Maybe in another 10 years the plants I have will be big enough to produce more..... As it is, we get a few stalks every few days. Not even worth heating the oven up to roast them.....

The garden is looking good with the timely rains. I sure wish I knew what it takes to have healthy, producing strawberry plants. They just kind of barely thrive along. Maybe they want sandy soil?

I worked on something all day. Got in the house just before 5pm. Lawn is cut. Now I can put the new gator blades on and raise mower up 1/2".
So I missed most of the race. Only needed to watch last 20 laps. To get best of the race.
I need a nap. But it's too late for that. Almost bedtime.

Kyle,

I couldn稚 stay awake last night for the AFT race. Did watch heats/semis. Sounds like Jiggy Dog had quite a night. Was disappointed JV20 didn稚 get a top 10. Figure I will get some detail from his dad this week.

DG122 is certainly proving he has gotten his act together. I am impressed. Also impressed the job Rob is doing with a shoe string budget to prove he did the right thing with Dalton.

We got rained out last night.

The Champion frame came home from the painter. You asked for a picture....

Eat the asparagus raw.

Strawberries grow good in loose soil, ours grew like bad weeds on top of the septic weeping bed. Our raspberries were huge, too.

Thanks. As you finish it out, keep us posted on how it's going.

I was expecting #94RW to win or place 2nd. He had the fastest lap time, but it takes a whole race. But DG122 has impressed me. Reading Briar Baumann's explanation post race was pretty funny and astounding about JD Beach.

Good evening all. 64F this morning, overcast, showers in area and light wind. Winds kicked up today, trace of rain, and high temp of 82F. After chapel and making wife's breakfast went into energy conservation mode. Did check out rear derailleur on 19-speed, and had over bent it. Also put new batteries in rear light. Wife and I did got to town for groceries and dinner, and had nice nap.
Don, quite the wedding story, glad it turned out :drink:
Bird, that sounded like a more colorful wedding than mine.
Randy, cool cake.
Rich interesting project.
prayers for all.
