Good Morning Everyone!!!

24ºF with mixed clouds/sun for today's low; 34ºF with sun/clouds presently; and maybe a mixed sun/clouds high ~50ºF later today. With the small fire in the wood stove and some hot coffee today is starting off pretty well. I doubt that I'll have to re-feed the stove later. Things get a little too warm in the afternoon sun. A lot of bird activity at the feeders; by habit I still start counting them. :embarrassed: Today is another day of puttering around.

WCD- Thanks for sharing your project plans and the apple picture. You live in a beautiful area.

Billy- I am happy to read that you finally got the water flowing again. My furnace and plumbing challenges always seem to occur on weekends in the dead of Winter; and A/C breakdowns during weekend heat spells. I have a service contract with a HVAC service. My Wife does not like them, but they do come ASAP.

Bruce- Thanks for sharing pictures of the Medal of Honor parade.

"...new meds sure have kept me on boost. Plus complete clarity and focus.? Drew. I knew a "certain somebody" who activated by Prednisone, donned his O2 tank, got out his Stihl chainsaw, climbed a pear tree, and started pruning;). "Mamma" J is following your Prednisone use;). I still miss that Prednisone "focussed buzz" having no nasal/post nasal drip, and no aches and pains; but powerful drugs have powerful side effects? Be careful managing the energy and watch your blood sugar levels. Nuff posted (for now.

Rich- Good luck on the trip planning. It does not read like you are getting much support from those who believe themselves to be in "crisis" mode. I had to respond to psych "crises" 24/7 when on beeper (as usual). Many times it was the facility's management/Supervisor(s) on duty in crisis; not the identified individual in "crisis." They were stable.

Randy- My + thoughts, prayers, and wishes for your Mom.

Ted- Good luck with the orthopedist today. I hope that those treating you finally find what is driving Mr. Knee's pain and swelling. I see mine tomorrow; thankfully my knee challenges are more ROM and lack of strength related than pain & swelling. I now realize that I may be wearing this :censored: T-ROM for a while longer:(.

I hope everyone has a manageable day.

My + thoughts, wishes, ad prayers.

Wow. So much happening on this GM thread. I am impressed with all of you able to keep track.

I will help and add value where I can.

Txdon- you don’t need a QR app any longer. Your iPhone camera does that for you now. One less app for us is a good thing right?

Ed- Miss a day and it takes forever to get caught up. For a bunch of old f@rts or those in process of "becoming," this bunch is pretty active. I get tired reading about how hard everyone else is working:rolleyes: It's real easy to miss stuff.

Good morning all,

36 this morning with cloudy skies, not sure if the wind is blowing. Have not decided what we're going to do today, might go to Logan Utah for some longer wires. (TV to Blu Ray player)

I'd like to get some dirt work around the house done, but it's still to muddy.

Prayers for all, have a nice day.

66°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 77° today, with wind and some storms expected later today.

Ordered a new desk for the studio about a week ago from the WallyWorld website, and had it shipped to the local store. Picked it up last night, but didn't have time to assemble it and switch out the old one. Probably do that tonight.

Hope your mother makes a turn for the better, Ron, or at the very least finds peace quickly.

Nice-looking car, Don. My Wife is really enjoying her new Niro, and my '14 Soul seems to be scooting along just fine, just rolling past 149K miles yesterday.

 Beat me to it, Jay. I rarely stop in here on weekends (don't use my computer much at home), so catching up on Mondays is a chore, especially when, like this past weekend, it's a three day event. We are definitely a busy crew.

I did not know that. Need to read more manuals. If you’re not on a app how does the SE iPhone do it?

Yes it's keyless and that reminds me, I still haven't figured all the options of that FOB. #1 on the list today.

I already had to get a QR reader app for my iPhone to look at all the instructional videos attached to the manual instructions.

OK Rick, make that $35,000.00 per second.

Add whitewalls, A/C, and dual rear antennas options and it's even more than that.

Took me a week, and a trip to my Ford Dealer, to find out that my new truck unlocks when I approach it with the FOB in my pocket. I thought doors and tailgate weren't locking.

Make sure you keep your iPhone up to date. Your iPhone SE should support iOS 11.

How to scan QR codes with iOS 11...

Head to Settings > Camera and toggle Scan QR Codes if it's not already on.

Then, open the Camera app.

Once the Camera app is open, swipe over until you get into the photo mode and ensure that you are using the back facing camera.

Hold your phone up to the QR code in question, and then wait a few seconds.

It's 27 this morning and overcast. The snow started Tuesday afternoon and stopped some time last night. It snowed for over 30 hours. I'm not sure how much we got but I'm thinking over 2 feet. The wind picked up yesterday morning so we have some good drifts. Today is going to be partly cloudy and in the mid 30's with some more wind 15-25 mph.

One of the neighbors stopped by yesterday and got stuck in the driveway. He run into one of the drifts, he said he couldn't see were he was going. We spent about a hour digging him out.

I was going to make a trip to town this morning but it will take me most of the day to dig us out to the road.

Hope everyone that's having health or personal problems the very best.

I'm not sure if I got two pictures on here are not. If I did sorry.
CWB.

Wow, got it thanks!

If this option is on, it should be simply point at the QR code with the camera and wait a second. A funny little notification comes up on the screen to “Open in safari”.

My late wife痴 2011 Edge Limited did That, like you, I had to get use to it.

Wow CWB. A little jealous of that snow. Would love one more blizzard to snowblow, snowshoe and play in. However, in Southwest MI we already put away the snow gear.

Claye- Thanks for the snow picture. Good luck with the drifts. What is your elevation?

   / Good morning!!!! #92,116
Jay ... It's 8300 feet. We're on the north slope of the of the Uinta Mountains in Southwest Wyo.

It looks like I have some help the neighbor is here with his skid steer.

Back from Dr. 30 post since I last looked.
Dr reminded me that at my age stuff doesn't heal like when I was younger. OK Doc. Since we are going to have crappy weather for the next few days. I will use them to conserve energy.

Nice young doctor. Should still be around when I get to the Century mark.

Randy, hope your mom finds the strength to make it way beyond her birthday.

Don, your iPhone should be updated with IOS 12.2.

Just did that last night while I was sipping a glass of wine on the back porch...:cloud9:

You might want to hang on to your barcode app, though. The one I use, RedLaser, will let me price shop in a store by scanning the barcode on a piece of merchandise and displaying pricing on Amazon and the like. There are probably better apps out there that do even more, though.
