Echo CS620P Carb Adjustment

Hello all,
I just purchased a 4 month old Echo CS620P (it was too heavy for the original owner) and the carb limiters have been removed. What are the factory setting for the low & high jets. I plan on adjusting is as required but I wanted a starting point.

Carb limiters on echos should be removed because to lean from factory IMHO.
Had a 6 month old 590 I bought from original owner and it had started scoring already due to being to lean from factory.

Manual shows 620 max 12600 - 13200

SM shows this for starting points. L 1 7/8 and H 7/8

I just start at 1 to 1.5 myself.

Boyde, I sent you a PM. I have a 620P I bought brand new in early February knowing it would need to be tuned right out of the box. EPA standards require them to be tuned so lean it isn't funny. I had to open my low speed jet over a full turn from the factory setting so it wouldn't bog when pulling the trigger. I also had to open the high speed a bit too but can't remember how much off the top of my head.

This is also a good video on how to get it tuned well. He's using a rev limited CS-590 but very similar on the unlimited CS-620P. You should also have a tach available so you can make sure the wide open throttle isn't over 13,400 RPMs. Service manual sayw WOT is 12,600 to 13,400. I stay closer to the 12,600 to be safe.
