The next potential system to impact on NE this coming weekend will probably be more wet than frozen, but that's ~6 days out; way too early to guesstimate what really will happen.

The ability to share the -'s and the +'s of life benefits more than it detracts from/by the sharing.

I give up trying to remember everything. I just do my best and enjoy reading the post.

I do enjoy reading all the posts too. This is my favorite online "thing" to read. But I've been busy. There are so many posts that I had clicked to copy and comment on, but alas, I just get behind.

So, I'm here. Just lurking sometimes.

All caught up today. :)

Did we ever decide tractor daddy bedwetter's official name? I could just stick to "The Don".

Drew, my old garden tiller started life as a Deere 624, that I've taken off the original Tecumseh and replaced with harbor freight. I gave up reverse, but it does what I need most of the time. Garden is oh so wet, I still can't get in there. Maybe Rick will bring his 100 horse tractor over and I'll get the pressure washer out just in case.

Eric, do you watch the new Grand Tour with Clarkson and the gang? He is such a hoot and a buffoon at the same time. It's on Amazon Prime.

"That's more snow than we have gotten all winter. Get the snow plow on."

"Looks like we're going to get an opportunity to clear some more snow Tuesday into Wednesday...prediction here is 8-12 inches."

Gentlemen...Gentlemen your spoiling my Sunday afternoon. :( ;)

That's more snow than we have gotten all winter. Get the snow plow on.

Plow and snow blower get rigged in November and stay on all winter...

researched the broken tiller, new full width shaft with center gear is 130, not too bad. Entire assembly so just a bolt in, about 300. This unit has a lot of hours on it, new one is 2400, worth spending 300 if I can get new bearings and seals with that. Will call them tomorrow and find out what parts come with what assembly.

planted beets this morning in trays in a toasty warm garden shed, listened to classical music and contemplated life.
Then wrapped up and went out and planted a full tray of collards, and sensibly left the last tray of 200 for another day.
But what I really wanted to do is plant a tray of those giant onions and I got those planted too. Then I knew I was done, came in, read my book, took a short nap and am looking at the weather forecast and glad there's only rain coming here.

Local farmers had it right, no damage to plants it seems, all upright and not wilted.

The neighbor came back from vacation so no more bed wetting required.

Good afternoon! 40ish and drizzling all day.
busy day -
Started with the annual the old country Church Turkey dinner which sold 1200 plates in 3 hours after services and then back to town to see a play with the neighborhood Elderland group at the Palace theater. 4 hours a of driving in-between and now a time to rest.

Utility vehicle purchase on hold till I find more information on the law, the CA rules and the insurance on public roads. A few modifications at the time of purchase may be necessary. Our City law does allow driving golf carts on public roads, I just need to find out if there are speed limitations or if I can go up to speed limits. In Sun City Florida they are not allowed to go faster than 17mph - but this is Texas and I know some golf carts are going 35 mph when I am behind them. The CA also has a fleet of mules and gators on the public streets with the slow moving vehicle signage.

“I refer to pant's waist and inseam like piston bore to stroke. I myself, since about 12 years ago have gotten "over square". :)

Got real chuckle out of this one, it is my story also!
