18 right now...how in the low 20's.
My wife had heart catherization yesterday. I was supposed to help out at a gun show in Barre (VT) today, but wifey can't be alone for a couple days...so, that's my plan for today...and tomorrow. Main thing, no lifting or movement with her arm

Prayers for your wife.

13 right now, supposed to get to 26 later today. Chance of snow tomorrow and warmer. Just finished 1st cup of coffee.....time for #2.

Wood burner is going strong, almost hate to leave the living room.....

During the night, came downstairs to load up the wood burner. The one cat met me at the bottom of the steps crying. Figured she wanted fed.....too early for that. She didn稚 run to the food bowl, she ran to the wood burner, she wanted the heat cranked back up......made me laugh.

Think the taxes and some garage projects are on the to do list today. Will likely take the wife to dinner. Been a while since we went to our favorite Mexican place.....

Everyone have a good and safe day

28 with some wind, heading to 38 today. Good day for the run-in floor re-do. Made the mistake of gathering all left-over 2X6's that were sitting in various places on the farm. Nice weathered look. PT. Will screw them down into the sub floor on the big side of the run-in, today. LOL. Need to final measure barn windows. Glass part came in for replacement pane. Seems some windows are not all 41 inches. SO, wants nice. So, I will measure and custom order. About a 1/2 difference in a lot of them. Just need to figure out how many. LOL.

Prayers for all on the mends. Hope you all get better, faster than expected. Just take it easy, and remember, smile!

Have a great w/e, off to the back forty!

My first big truck was a 7.3L Ford. I recall putting over 100 dollars in diesel in it a few times. Great truck, but just did not fit the home-style, life-style for those days.

Back when fuel was over $4/gallon out here, I regularly saw $100 fillups. I think I got to $175 once. The thing has the big 38 gallon tank in it, and anything over $99.99 meant making two transactions. The good news is it'll go almost 650 miles on a tank if I keep my foot out of it.

what a nice breakfast, considering a local farmer who just happened to have a potato harvester sat at my table.
Learned a lot this morning and he is offering to come harvest the potatoes for me, save me three grand. A fine breakfast indeed...
Came out to my truck, covered in sleet, yuk. 41 and nasty out, not exactly motivating me to go plant collards. Maybe this afternoon.

Roy, hope your wife feels much better soon.
Ron, glad you are doing better. Four months is a long time, my brother had his knee replaced entirely and he thought he'd be back
in the groove in a couple of months. No. Six months until he felt close to normal.
Buppies, you doing ok?

Plus I was told this morning where to buy CBD oil locally. Table one at the greasy spoon was most helpful today.

what was the horsepower and torque of those old 7.3's?
I'm guessing half of what a modern diesel truck puts out.
But they didn't break...
