Was much worse than I thought. Doctor took a pic and I sent it to my wife in NC for extra sympathy. Not sure I can figure how to get another tractor out of it, though.

OUCH  quick recovery.

Deer feeder I ordered was on back porch this morning. So went out to shop an made a mount to attach it to bird feeder post. Got the project done without any injuries.
..............................
 Don't forget the game cam, also may have to mow more often around near feeder. ;)

First group of 3 deer came to feeder.
They got about 3' away. Hey what is that thing. Kept looking for 10 minutes. Then moved onto their next nightly stop. Not hungry enough yet I guess.

Wngsprd, ouch, get well!
I'd be getting rid of it if it was hanging below the duct.

I led a discussion at mens church breakfast this morning, then installed another security cam.
Had to get up in the attic to run wire, 10' up with an 8 ft step ladder, i think. Anyway i have to stand on very top of step ladder, then make another 2' step while pulling myself up using the trusses. I think we need a pull down stair for the access, as there are 3 hvac units up there.

Cleaned pellet stove, and stocked 2 more weeks of pellets. Have gone thru almost a ton so far.

Trimmed a few limbs from a couple apple trees. Tempted to trim them at the ground, have never gotten any fruit.

Grilled burgers for supper.

9 staples and a tetanus shot.

Sounds like a reupholstering job, well, except for the shot. Don't feel bad I bump my head in the attic the other day and the scab just looks like dark hair. But wow, when you do it it's headline news worthy - in urgent care with blood running down your face, - it's hard to beat that image and still be conscious.

Rick If I would have taken the tractor out today it would have looked like yours after the 3/4" rain last night. I would have gotten a call from TPS (Tractor Protective Services).

Finished the garden today but left phone at home so no pics today. They thought I was putting in an irrigation system with the 70' of 2" PVC.

The home depot pull down stairs comes for ceiling 8-10 ft. My ceiling was 9' and I had to cut a foot off the end. It come with good instruction for ceiling height and # of inches to cut off, plus they have angled feet to put on you square cut steps.

Good evening all. 30F for the start, mostly clear sky, light wind. wind stayed light, sky stayed mostly clear and high temp was 55F. Bike ride this morning, trip prep this afternoon, and a trip to ER, wifey was complaining about chest pains and having some trouble breathing. All tests negative, got to leave after 2.5 hours, they did 2 enzyme tests 2 hours apart.
Wngsprd, sorry about your head.
Jay sorry about the problems of sharing your experience with the defective crampons.

Might have to look at one. But there is a drop ceiling below. Right now i move a 2x4 tile to get to the access hole.

Well my HVAC is running. Tech had simply left the circuit breaker off. But on the way out from under my house I hit the top of my head on the duct work metal hanging strap...same place I did a couple of months ago.

But this time I'm sitting in the urgent care center (25 miles from home) waiting for 1.5 hours to get stitches with blood running down my forehead.

I got tired of banging my head on things, I found a lined ball cap on the net. Looks like a baseball hat, but has a hard plastic insert. Not osha compliant, but it keeps me from scrambling what remains of my brains. I forgot the company or site, I think it was on Amazon.

Decided to clean worst of the mud from tractor with hose first today. Pressure washer tomorrow, since we're supposed to see 70° by mid afternoon tomorrow.
