37 going to 49 and rain.
David, congrats on getting your concrete done. I think I may need to concrete our whole yard it is so soggy.
Coyotes are here...mostly see them on the trail cams, but occasionally see one in the field or find their scat.
Never heard of a gray squirrel stripping bark. But have seen the damage they do in an attic. The first house we ever bought was a fixer upper beach house we bought from an elderly couple. Squirrels had chewed a hole through the fascia board and nested in the attic in the loose glass wool insulation. I bagged all of it up and in the process found 2 mummified squirrels...nothing but bare dry skin stretched over bones....must have been there for years. I then rolled out the pink insulation in its place. Nasty job...and of course replaced the board...and endless other fixer upper jobs.
Spent 3 hours working on my chain saw yesterday while the HVAC man was working here. Sharpened chains, cleaned it up thoroughly, and troubleshot a problem with the cutoff switch...just a loose wire. In the process looked at the owners manual and realized it had recently had its 29th birthday. Been a great saw that has cut over 100 cords and this loose wire is the first problem. This sort of performance makes me a very loyal customer. I like loyalty.
