Can't tell if the roof would support a hoist. If not and you have the $600 or so available, consider the HF gantry frame.
Put 2 wood blocks under the "kickstand" legs, then put the loader in float. That will let the loader down and with the blocks under the kickstands, it will push up on the mounting brackets where the "towers" connect to the tractor.Hi guys,
I need to remove the FEL to gain good access to engine and (hopefully) fix this machine after 12 months being out of action (no fuel delivery).
Currently the bucket is some 8 inches from the ground and takes forever to lower by itself.
Hydraulics and attachment pins are removed.
Photo shows the current situation. I cannot push the FEL upwards where it rests on the mountings unless I jack up the bucket a little, taking the pressure of the mountings. However I am unable to lift it over the hump and at the same time move it forward (to separate it from the tractor).
Ideas anyone?

And when you are done you can re-mount the tire on the rim so the tread goes the right direction. Or since you're down under maybe the directional tread goes the other way?

Wow, George, you are observant. Bet you’re the only one who noticed that.
