Starter Motor XG3037

Well, I thought I had the starting issue solved, but it turned out that the clutch pedal safety switch was not the issue. It wouldn't start again and turns out it is the solenoid on the starter...had it bench tested to make sure. Has anyone else had any luck replacing just the solenoid on an LS starter, #40305984, or finding a replacement starter for this model?

Did that today. Am hoping for good news, but thought I would get some more input from others, too.

just the solenoid would have to be a lot cheaper than replacing the whole starter
