Crown Royal, smoothest bourbon I ever drank, many of the fancy bourbons my buddies are drinking are harsh.

The main use for Crown Royal is to turn Coke into an alcoholic beverage. Besides it痴 a blended anyway.

I will drink Jack Daniels. And now we will all hear Jeff9366 - SCREAM. I like Inver House for scotch. Had a gal where we worked bring me a quart of freshly brewed White Lightning - it had a unique taste.

As I stated earlier I am not a connoisseur of alcoholic beverages. In 1999 my family traveled to Ireland on business and I brought back to a friend of mine a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey. He told me it was "good liquor". I have no idea of the taste. He was and still is quite the "connoisseur".

I tried some, supposedly, very good, very expensive Scotch once. Glad it was just a taste - I like Scotch - this stuff was gutter drizzelings. I guess its all in the taste you like.

Though not bourbon I had a swig or two of Jameson yesterday at around 12 noon because its 5 o'clock somewhere . One of my favorite flask fillers ! (Aspinal of London) . Of course I wasnt operating a motorized vehicle or packing one of my "45's" ..........................

Sadly when in the Philippines I can buy one take one at pure gold (costco type warehouse) for just over eleven dollars, much cheaper than I can buy four miles away at the Va. ABC store. Probably has something to do with taxes or lack of. Tanduay rum is the largest rum maker in the world and a bottle in the Philippines is about 80 pesos or $1.40. Rum and coke all night long for less than $2.00.

One thing they told us on our Caribbean cruise...they don't water the drinks there; the booze is cheaper than the mixer.

Nothing worse than people giving you booze you don't like! A friend keeps bringing over different imported beers that I can't stand. Yet, he knows I drink ONLY Tuborg! Another gave me a Nice Bottle of Crown Royal, but wait, with MAPLE! Who in their right mind? And if you liked that kind of thing, hey add it to your drink at home!

Reminds we when my brother and I got into some booze stashed away at my grandparents house and mixed J&B scotch with RC cola. That was sickening.

Anyone on here ever drank Elijah Craig? I have seen good reviews of it. It is distilled by Heaven Hill, the same folks that produce Evan Williams.
