Back in the 80s I got into a fight with this woman I had a stormy relationship with. She didn't drive, but stormed out saying she was walking the 100 miles back to Toronto. Several hours later, she showed up. A guy from the local watering hole, had given her a ride back here. Some days, a guy just can't catch a break!
I guess as long as she's gone, the song has a happy ending. Sorry about yours boomeranging on you.
