Aftermarket Starter Recommendation

Hello,



I'm looking for an aftermarket starter for my tractor. (International 784)Can anyone recommend a good brand? DB Electical? EMS global? Uni Point?

I've had good luck with DB electrical or Dixie elecrical
I did get one starter from them that I wish I hadn't, it was for a 574 and I found three that would have worked and got the heaviest duty on.
It works good it will crank the tractor over easily but not as fast as I would have liked, in retrospect I should have gotten the middle unit.

Awesome. I知 in the same boat. There痴 3 that will cross to a delco or Lucas. The weights are different according to the website. My tractor is a 78 model and the Dixie electrical doesn稚 begging until 84? I致e emailed DB and am waiting a response.

I have been going with the gear reduction starters when possible as I've had to change them out, they seem to crank over faster especially in the winter.

DB Electrical 1/3 the price of dealership and looks to be OEM. No idea if the carry the one you need.

I like the sound of a gear reduction starter. Any good source for them that you can name right off hand? DB does carry one that will fit. I壇 like to buy once cry once lol.

I got my last one from Dixie electric. But I see they have changed there website and you have to log in now to research to find the one you want.
