Happy anniversary Kyle. Many more I hope are your fate. Marriage is hard and you both need to take pride in your accomplishments.

No social media for me other than TBN.

Wife is doing great. Wngsprd. No pain. I am in awe of modern medicine.

Thanks for the mower offer Buppies. Much appreciated. But I hope to get mine back this week. I hope you are doing well.

Ed..... I hope you and that lathe can find happiness together. Go tackle some projects.

Good night all. Have a great day tomorrow.

Good evening all. 80F for the start, clear sky , near calm wind. Wind was gusting 15+ this morning, sky stayed clear and high temp was 98F. Bike ride first thing this morning 46+ miles in just over 3 hours. Not much going on this afternoon, too hot to wok on Trek for the gravel bike conversion. Had to do some dog sitting duty today.
Riptides outstanding report!!
Ed nice to hear you are making chips :)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MR AND MRS KYLE ! Hope you can enjoy many more!

Got to work outside all day. About 5PM, the skies darkened, some distant rumbles, but the clouds spli going north and bypassed dropping any rain on us. I had put all the tools away, so told myself 'forget it now', I'll finish up tomorrow. We could still use the rain though.

RIP, glad to hear the Mrs is up and about and that her pain has subsided.

Ed, nice to hear you got the lathe going! Can't wait to see the first project.

Everyone have a great evening!

Thank you all for the anniversary well wishes.

I am most glad to hear about rip's wifey being pain free. That is great news.

Something killed 1 of our laying hens late this afternoon. I did hear a chicken make a squawking noise, but thought it was one of the hens trying to get caught up with the other 2, so I didn't think nothing of it... My wife went out maybe 30 minutes later to see the dead hen, and 2 piles of feathers about 25 feet apart just out our back door. My 2 youngest were fairly traumatized because the middle daughter that has some autism loves to chase, catch and feed grasshoppers to them. They are very tame to her. They will just squat down next to her and let her pick them up. I went looking for anything that might have done it with no luck. Checking the bird out, she seemed to have a wrung neck, and the feathers missing on her tail end. I did see a chicken hawk about 1/4 mile away, but would a chicken hawk pull out tail feathers? I couldn't see any blood anywhere, no talon or teeth marks. We've had grey foxes in the past, but haven't seen any for a couple of years. Would a coyote attack in the middle of the afternoon? I would guess a coyote would have ran off with the whole bird. That brings it back to dogs.... Might have to keep some firearms handy. S,S,&S.
