REVERSING ISSUE??

I may be getting a free Yard Machine to fix up. I read posts about not being able to reverse with the deck running. The problem seems to relate to fatality/lawsuit which forced the industry to add this supposed safety feature. A little retro wiring should eliminate the issue. Safety interlocks can be a PITA. On my MTD made Craftsman garden tractor, it has a button to push to override the "No Mowing In Reverse" problem.

Thanks Orange. As I said a quick surf turned up lots of info. My JD111 is old enough not to have those safeties.
