Good morning!!!!

There are usually 2 version a 27 and a 27F back in the day we always called the "F" the Ford version and the post were swapped was the only difference.

that's really good to know. I need to replace the battery on my Super A and it has a strange ending to it, I think R. Of course in the last 60 years who knows how many
"whatever will fit" batteries went in that old tractor.

Don, you make that move sound easy, and I know it wasn't. A huge big deal, what to keep, what to put where.
I bet you're tired at the end of the day, but excited too.
How are you going to keep Whipper from barking at the cool wildlife?
Barking dogs a no no usually. Depends upon your neighbors too, maybe they want an early warning detector too...

Finished making shrimp cocktail for the Garden Club lunch. I just know those ladies are wondering what I'm bringing,
being an incompetent man after all.... heh heh heh

I even have a underlayer of cool packs to keep my shrimp cold. This is where my first job out of college in institutional feeding, which thankfully lasted
only one year before I went into insurance. 80-100 hour weeks. No thank you. But I did learn how to cook and present food in hot summer conditions where
bad mayo can take out dozens if you're not lucky... Happened in my home town with some chicken salad once at a summer street festival. Had an employee at my Radio Shack then who was
Captain in the local ambulance squad. He said those sick people completely trashed their rigs, nothing they could help either.
When in doubt, keep it cold.
Besides IR thermometers are dirt cheap and a great way to make sure your food isn't getting too warm.
It's what all the food inspectors use...

20180607_100515.jpg20180607_120413.jpg59 going to 86 and the humidity will rejoin us.

Ed, getting your AC back is the best news, and just in time.

Thomas, hope you are enjoying your "new" water.

Speaking of water, RNG, after washing out the bird baths and refilling, refilling the dog water pail, making 2 cups of pour over coffee, and making 2 more gallons of hummingbird "juice" this morning, I think I've already used 20% of that 50 or so gallon limit...sounds crazy.

Yesterday's plan was to finally spray 4 areas...decided to take Coco for a mountain hike while we waited for the dew to burn off, and since we were up and about before dawn. Streams and rivers still high and lots of flood damage...roads washed out and water still running over the road in two places. Waterfalls were full, temps started in the upper 50's and low humidity so hiking was perfect.

Don, I forgot to answer your question about Madison, VA...it's nowhere close to the route you'd take from little Washington NC back to Texas. But I did go by Yoder's yesterday and checked on the chairs...a couple of different stains...$219...and all fit like a glove.

Billy that waterfall pic is marvelous, boy would I like to take a dip in there after a hot day outside
Ed, glad you are cool again, least you won't have to worry about that any more.

Decided to take one of my sacks of red potatoes to the luncheon, send the ladies home with some potatoes for the summer, last meeting until Sept.
I sure have plenty and more to dig.
I admit it's a little strange being the only guy there...I wonder if I have broken the pink ceiling?

79 going to 91.
Spent some time this morning watching an egret stalking the fish and a gator stalking the egret. The gator took too long and I had to go to work so I didn't see the end. Still something was going into the stomach of something else for sure.
Rain all around me in the past few weeks but I haven't gotten much. I keep having to divert water from my geothermal heat pump to the yard instead of returning it to ground. Some day soon I'll install a 3 way motorized ball valve so I can set up a sprinkler system to water things around my house with the geothermal cooling water.

Whipper is doing good. Grass, hills, trees, deer, coyote, roadrunners, turkeys and a bunch of new smells.View attachment 557577

You can sure tell it痴 Georgetown, oh deer!

Don and Karen moving to the city while Glenda and myself are moving to the country. Our house in Wylie will be on the market next week. We致e been living on our acre and a half here east of Denison almost a month now.
We bought the land and with it came a single wide that needed wings so it could live its dream. Done. Now we have space for building the barndominium and blacksmith shop.

Life isn稚 just good, it痴 better.
