Good morning!!!!

59 earlier when I went outside and only getting up to 76 today...be-yoo-tee-ful.

PJ, wife did such a good job, almost wondering which is the statue and which is the dog. Speaking of painting, I see that a Van Gogh painting called "Woman Mending Nets by the Dunes" sold for $8.3MM...I'd like a new money making hobby so I think I'll start mending nets on a dune...or should I try painting? :).

Ed, hope you get the A/C going before this nice weather is over.

BEF, great job on that axle...how you get that whole unit so clean on the outside?

Wind too strong again to spray yesterday, so went to HD and picked up some French drain pipes and parts, and then mowed ...took 1.5 hours on the zero to do what used to take almost 4.

Haircut today, gym, and another try at spraying. If no go, I'll take the spray rig off anyway and put on the bush hog...can't wait any longer.

I only vacuumed the outside, except for cleaning around the fill plug before openning it.

Here you can see the dirt.

I decided to let the gasket cement dry before filling with fluid. Just gotta fill, reattach, and see what happens. Likely wont happen today. Wasnt sure how much to torque the bolts, or how much fluid to add. 0605182136.jpeg

62°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 92° today. Looking like mid-90s here into the weekend. And the humidity is back.

Also looks like road construction season is officially open. IDOT is out in force this week, digging holes in perfectly good pavement. One area on I-64 near Shiloh IL has traffic backed up for about 5 miles every afternoon. I hopped off the interstate yesterday to grab a bite to eat on the way home, and to go around some of the backup. In all, it took me 2 hours to get home from work yesterday. Going to be one of those summers, I suppose.

Appreciate the comments, guys. My Wife is way better to me than I deserve. Artist, musician, seamstress, cook, loves tools, plays golf, loves motorcycles, ... and easy on the eye. She's definitely a keeper.

Nice job on the repair, BEF. Hope that fixes it for good.

66°F and .52 inches rain

Maybe get to run some of that diesel in my tractor but I suspect ground is still soft.

Major volcanic destruction in Kapoho and Vacationland but OK up here. Many more homes destroyed. Didn’t even feel the earthquakes.

Prayers for all

Be safe
Have a great day

Hi. Hot humid down here.
Some body kicks me. I need some incentive to move and do something. This time of the year keeping up with the grass is about all I can do.

David,
I pray that the volcano goes back to sleep for y'all.

tis the potato patch that keeps giving
another five pounds of potatoes picked after first pass with disc, couldn't bear to chop them up

sprayed fruit and nut orchards and almost didn't get through it, cheap hose on sprayer gave up the ghost
Am going to replace this piece with some heater hose or something a lot HD; needs to handle chemicals though

then I got my little Husqvarna tiller out, amazed it started, first time this year, and did the whole veggie garden.
Geez I hate those tillers, just bounce you up and down, lightweight front tine, but it works.

Lastly pulled down half of the peas, they were over the hill and getting some mold on them.

Never got to digging potatoes in raised bed; that's on for early tomorrow morning when it's a lot cooler out

found a big pile of small poops in the garden...rabbit? not a good sign...

Good morning! 75˚ before sunrise heading to 95˚ with a heat index of 102˚. The moving truck will be here soon for the big move and tomorrow we will do the final walkthrough with the new owner if all goes as planned.

Randy your "country" sounds like a Texas downtown. It sounds like you have a good longevity plan with doctors, hospitals and family close.

Well if you stand in any part of my yard and look around you see fields and woods, feels like country. I grew up in NE NC so 8 know what country is, but there痴 no advantage to being far from what you use.

72 and dry, feels like October. Sitting on my deck watching clouds pass by, birds are singing, it’s one of those wow days!
Going to take Gracie and head to grandson’s ballgame about 5:30. Got a Perdue rotisserie chicken in the slow cooker, Lima beans and corn ready to go with some boiled redskins.
Prayers for all.

Real nice to be working outside today.
The water supply line fix to the house and purring like kitten once again :cool2: 6' down 4' wide backhoe had no trouble,20' from foundation very sharp rock some how cut threw plastic pipe in 40 years :confused2: before covering water line place 4" blue board insulation on top added protection, just finish raking leveling area so let dry and rake again Saturday than seed hay on top.
As we were working Doe and her fawn came with 60' and watch for little bit...interesting.
Going to kick back now and just enjoy the rest of the day.

Enjoy the evening all.
