good morning all, Roy send me that potato salad, I love it.
Is she making it with habanero sauce?....
sure you aren't eating too late in the evening, too soon before lying down?

I read the list of the ten things you shouldn't do/eat with GERD and I was doing 7 of them.
No more problems since then but must take Prevacid due to arthritis meds tearing me up.
Would you believe that breath mints can give you acid reflux?

ran out of energy yesterday despite beautiful day outside, decided to pace myself a little...
So, saved the most fun part for today, discing the field where the potatoes were dug.
Then I'm digging potatoes in my raised garden today, French fingerlings, dark blues, and some left over whites.
Can't wait to have a blue baked potato.

Feeling blue honey?, here, have a blue potato....

PJ, not only is your wife beautiful but she is seriously talented. Better keep her around...;)
just hope your dog doesn't pee on the statue, like a fire hydrant...wife might not like that. Hmmmm.

Some light showers expected this afternoon but not much. Sun is waking up and time to get moving.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 40° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 72° with mostly sunny skies. When it warms up I will find something to do outside.

Thomas, hope the water line repair goes well.

Roy, I weaned myself off PRILOSEC (omeprazole) almost 2 years ago. 2 things I learned. The water at home from our reverse osmosis filters was causing most of my reflux. Doctor said not enough natural acids in the water to make stomach work properly. I still have attacks occasionally. When Tums will not help I take Nexium for 2 weeks. Solves problem for months afterwords.

Buckeye, hope rest of axle repairs goes good.

PJ, your wife did good painting dog.

Good Morning All.

They don't have too many hay bales and most of the roadside fences are made of stones. Drove round the circuit on one of the "Mad Sundays" when everyone who has gone over for the races just has to ride around the circuit. On the open road there is no speed limit and everyone was going like Hxxx. A Manx Norton on open megaphones going past at full noise sounded "FANTASTIC"

I attended the TT in ?5, flying over with a Norton Commando in the hold. Many fond memories of that trip, and yes, it痴 one of those things you just have to experience to believe and appreciate. If I go again, though, I think it値l be to the Classic TT held later in the year. I知 much more 妬nto the older bikes (and riders!) these days, er, pretty much always...

Good morning! 75˚ before sunrise heading to 95˚ with a heat index of 102˚. The moving truck will be here soon for the big move and tomorrow we will do the final walkthrough with the new owner if all goes as planned.

Randy your "country" sounds like a Texas downtown. It sounds like you have a good longevity plan with doctors, hospitals and family close.

77 degrees when I got up at 4 a.m., going for a high of 96. I noticed a little water on the driveway and found about .05" of rain in the gauge. And when Fox 4 News came on the TV, they were showing hail, up to baseball size, busted car windows, etc. less than 10 miles south of us. It appears that it was moving northeast to southwest just east of us. We're thankful that we dodged the bullet this time again.

Good Morning!!!! 62F @ 4:15AM. Partly cloudy. High 82F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Stuffy room woke me up early this morning, even though the glass sliding doors are open. Very still outside except for a fox barking and the barn swallows chittering after their mosquitos. That little fox sat by the pump house door yesterday and barked at me, and I think I heard her kits somewhere close by crying for her. I suppose that means I’ll have more fox surprises on the front door mat soon:eek:

Hope your well repairs don’t turn into a small fortune for The Dirt Man, Thomas.

Got a few last minute odds and ends done yesterday and I think the big dirt bike is ready for the trip south tomorrow. Didn’t get the test ride in that I’d planned though, as a fellow I spoke with last week about the new GS wanted to come by and buy it. Told him sure, anytime is fine, then he called back and told me it’s his wedding anniversary and his wife thought a new-to-him motorcycle would be a perfect way to spend the day. He came back from the test ride with a big grin on his face, handed me an envelope full of cash, and off they went. No Paypal fees, no eBay fees, no fishy scams, just a little DMV paperwork, a handshake, and an extra box of parts for the wife’s trunk. I guess it helps that she rides, too, and wanted him to have a big dirt bike so he could go with her. Guess I’m out of excuses and really do need to start putting another bike together to help fill up all the extra room in the garage now.

The light winds last evening made for very nice soring for the buzzards off the point; I can sit there for hours watching their antics. They’re very curious birds, and I’ve learned that waving my arms at them will sometimes inspire a close in fly by, and I was treated to two or three of those last night. Not to be outdone, the barn swallows were darting and jinking by the patio as well, and the hummers were up to their usual bickering by the feeders. Even the dragon flies put in an appearance, so I suppose ariel artists of all sizes were represented in the evenings aerobatics show.

Happy Hump Day folks!
