Good morning. It seems we are in for a day of thunder storms, with already over 15,000 strikes to the south of us in the last 5 hours, although I have as yet to see a single flash outside.

I set this laptop set to click each time there is a strike. It's now clicking away almost as fast as the day our physics teacher approached me with a Geiger counter while trying to find a mysterious radioactive source. The culprit was my WW2 era watch that had just been passed on to me by my dad. As well as the relatively harmless alpha radiation that made the dial glow in the dark, it was also a gamma source stronger than the school specimens that were carefully stored in lead boxes. Mr Curtis told me to loose the watch ASAP. I don't think I ever thanked him properly for that advice. Thanks Mr Curtis !
LS Must be pretty dark where you live, are you sure you have enough LEDs on your Jeep ?
